SlamDunk (Anime) mod request

Hello guys

Back in NBA2K11, I saw SlamDunk patch people were using on youtube. I really wanted to get it but I already bought 2K11 on xbox360.

I bought a new PC this year and bought 2K12 on PC!!! I hope someone will continue making this mod for 2K12. This was my favourite anime growing up and I really will enjoy the patch if someone can make it!!!

Those who had this mod for NBA2K11, couple of quick questions for you:

-How many teams were included in the mod? How many players were included per team?
-Did players have NBA player rating or ratings like what we expect from the anime?

I love Slam Dunk too mate, but I have some bad news for you, at least for now.
As for now head shape editing for NBA 2k12 is still not possible, but word is that a head shape editor is in the works. Hopefully soon in the future we'll get some Slam Dunk cyberfaces coming, but that would most likely be from those wicked talented Chinese patchers at baballs.com. Most people in here aren't that crazy about Slam Dunk / don't know about that basketball manga masterpiece.

For your questions about SD mods for NBA 2k11:
-Every single team in the manga, even some teams that weren't shown in action in the manga (dunno about the anime, though). The whole thing would be a very large download, but we can choose which teams to download separately. Pretty much all players per team are available.
-Not sure, but I think NBA player ratings. This didn't matter anyways since you could edit the ratings in-game or use Vlad's Reditor.

Holy crap, you're right! I immediately d/l ed it and tested it in my game. Unfortunately the headshape (Danny Granger's) isn't the best headshape for Sakuragi, plus the eyebrows makes me think of a Kabuki/Noh dancer or something . But this will do fine for now, and it's promising, hopefully a better version will come along. Why don't we all post further SD info in this thread as it comes along? Us Slam Dunk fans need to stick together, eh?

I checked that link out, but the CFs' head models still look off to me, so I'm going to pass from downloading those for now. But this is really promising, at least we know that those people at baballs are making Slam Dunk players, hopefully they'll make CFs closer in quality to the NBA 2k10 Slam Dunk players.

Hey dude. Thank you so much for your answer in post #2.

This makes me think I can probably go get NBA2K11 for cheap now and enjoy those SD mods right away.
(I finished reading SD manga again last week )

Couple of follow up questions:
-Do you recommend 2K10 SD mod or 2K11 mod? (It sounds like 2k10 SD mod had great quality?)
-I would really appreciate if you could advise me where I can find them... (these mod you recommend, are they available here at NLSC?)

-I didn't get the chance to play the nba 2k10 mod as 2k11 was my first PC nba 2k game, but judging from the screenshot I'd say 2k10's quality is definitely better. But of course the game itself is much better in 2k11 than 2k10, so there's that.
-Yes they are. Someone else here told me about them quite a long time ago. You can use the forum's 'advanced search' function at the top right of the screen there to look for the download links.
