hangs when disconnected

The game hangs evertime i get disconnected and will only resume after my internet connects again. Its a big problem for me , cause my internet gets disconnected alot at this time of day. Im playing offline. I also cant launch the game if theres no internet. so no internet, no nba 2k12 for me how do i prevent the game from connecting to the internet?

If you are using the pc version, you can block 2k12 with windows fire wall.

I had that problem when I am still connected to my 2k account.

It doesnt work. it wont open without internet connection. I already blocked it on my firewall

That is weird. Before the 2k servers were working, I would just get a message saying that it couldn't communicate, but I could still play.

Turn off any connection from your PC to the modem/router, i.e turn off wi-fi or disconnecting the cable from your PC, before loading the game up.
