PC version - WTF 3 controllers again?

Thu Oct 13, 2011 5:09 pm

This is ridiculous. PS3 can handle 7 controllers max. XBOX - 4. PC can handle 128 USB devices. So guess how many 2k12 supports? They force one of the controllers to be a keyboard so you only can plug in a max of 3 controllers at a time. My friends enjoy playing 2 on 2 and now one of us needs to use a keyboard.

Major fail. Die consoles die.

Tried it in 2k11. Didn't work. I'll try it in 2k12. Not holding my breath.

Hi JWL3, maybe you should try an X360 wireless controller for PC, the included USB receiver can handle up to 4 X360 conventional wireless controller.
It's easy, you need to buy one X360 controller with a USB receiver, and 3 other simple wireless x360 pad. And voilá!

Yesterday we played 2k12 on PC, and we were 5 (4 players with X360 wireless controller, and one with a wired x360 lookalike 3rd party controller...)
and there were an opportunity for a 6th player to play on a keyboard, as well... (Y)

Beleive me, it's worth investing in it :D

Wow really? Problem is that it's a big investment cause each controller is $30 at least. Not only that, I've gotten used to my Thrustmaster Firestorm controllers which have an extra set of buttons in the back.

Thanks. If we get desperate, I'll do what you suggest.

eh....no? as far as I know the receiver only syncs up to one controller.
