Why 2k not allow us to play LAN Multiplayer?

first of all i dont like console thats why i play pc and i love playing nba2k on keyboard and i want to play with my friends in lan. ea has that how come 2k doesnt?

Well I guess they dont care about PC multiplayer so much.

well 2k should consider this, its needed especially when online sucks you name it we need to connect via lan.

EA hasn't released a PC basketball game in four years. And never ported from the current consoles.

I can't recall any of the most recent Live PC releases supporting LAN play, either. Only EASO and Direct IP.

first thing I thought of. You can do two keyboards too I think.

I've had 4 controllers plugged into the computer plus the keyboard and played a 3v3 game with 1 AI no problem before. So the game supports a lot of people.

as far as i remember i think live03-07 has that feature. i dunno what you call it but we call it lan multiplayer ^_^.

I only recall Direct IP and EA Sports Online in the online options for those games.

Ah, fair enough. It was possible to play over a LAN that way but generally speaking there was no LAN support for NBA Live like you might find in a first person shooter. If you knew what you were doing you could make the Direct IP option work for LAN though, certainly.

When I saw the title of the topic, this literally came to mind.

"NBA 2K, Y U NOO ALLOW US TO PLAY LAN MULTIPLAYER?"
