Issue with Jersey Patching .

Postby MayhemMonkey on Sun Apr 15, 2012 1:01 pm

Hey guys I'm new to patching and NBA 2k12 on PC . I've been playing around with the files for about 2 months now and I know what most of the textures and files are . I make a new jersey / with new colors everything goes smooth . It shows up in the game , but my problem is when the camera is panned out far the jeresys and shorts blend in a different color . Say I take Cleveland's wine jerseys and make them black , when the camera is panned out they blend to wine or if I take Memphis ABA jerseys and do some small editing to the jersey the shorts turn yellow when the camera is panned out . Ill post a picture if this will help . Btw doesn't show in replays ! Please help

make sure you are saving your dds files with mipmaps - viewtopic.php?p=1436371#p1436371

just do that, and reimport
Opinions are my own.

Well it seems like that wasn't the problem . Im still having issues with this . Any other info ? . I saved it under the right size and format with mipmaps . I thought it might be using a white jersey with black shorts so I made a green jersey uniform just to see and same outcome . What am I doing wrong ? Image

i use the mod tool, not the jerseys I/E

so take your dds files, make sure you got your mip maps saved, then try importing with the mod tool.

I had this problem too and I thinks it's about the mip maps but I couldn't fix it, so I tried to save the texture from another user in my computer and it worked.
I guess the Photoshop settings are messed up in my user...

I had the same trouble. I used the mod tool, exported the dds that is the shorts and jersey file (that I was having the issue with), went into photoshop, opened them, deleted the pure white alpha that had generated, saved them with the "generate mip map" option, and then imported them using the mod tool. Issue went away without problem.
