My Player can't dunk, what happens in the Jordan commercial?

Hey everyone,

did you ever wonder what happens at the end of the Jordan Shoe commercial if your My Player can't dunk?

Well, I tried it out and came up with this nice little montage I made! Hope you guys enjoy it. Took me quite some time to answer this specific question!

No surprises there, that's just the way the commercial is scripted to happen; it's just dropping your player into a cutscene. It would be cool though if there were a couple of different commercials that suited different types of players.

In any case it's good to have some video proof, kudos on the efforts and thanks for sharing.

I only played 5 minute quarters so the first 30 games or so went by fairly quickly and you spend more time waiting for halftime reports or postgame interviews to be over lol ... and after I got my full playing minutes I continued playing key games only (only clicked play next game a few times). It did take quite some time tho, not going to deny that!

I absolutely agree, especially for PG to Center ... thats why I wanted to try it out and see. Maybe this video or request can be forwarded to the developers of NBA 2K13? Would be amazing if they implemented it somehow!

I'd say it's definitely an idea to send along. It's not the most pressing issue for NBA 2K moving forward but it would be a good idea for presentation.

ye i expected your player to dunk without your player being able to dunk. It is apart of the Jordan commerical it is scripted and cant change.

I'd say it's definitely an idea to send along. It's not the most pressing issue for NBA 2K moving forward but it would be a good idea for presentation.

Certainly there are more pressing issues ... personally gameplay feel, online servers etc. are more important to me opposed to adding some fancy schmanzy new graphic. But 2K is all about sales and adding new "mini movies" would certainly sell well. At least for me it would give me an incentive to try out playing Center or Power Forward (if the my player story is different). It would be nice to not go through the same exact billboards, letters, etc. going through the careers of Point Guard to Center!
