Cyber Face Help!!!

Postby ProStyle8 on Mon Jan 23, 2012 5:35 am

Alright, every time I try to edit a players face in NBA 2K12 I always get their DDS file for their face. However, when I open it up, it looks something like this:

Every time I watch a tutorial on youtube on how to make cyber faces I always notice that the whole picture is filled with color. However, everytime I open up the players file it always shows up with some transparent areas and absolutely nothing above the head. Can anybody please help me out? Is this normal?

Ya i never got help with that either. I do it the long way. I use 3d mod tool, open up the png file, and that one shows the full texture, i copy and paste it over the transparent one.

For me it still doesn't work like that. I use the NBA2KX Mod Tool Version 0.198 and when I open up a player on there and scroll down through the textures, the face one which is texture 5 is always transparent on there also. Idk why this is happening! Its so frustrating.

Download the 3d mod tool, it shows everything, copy the picture from printing your screen and paste over your transparent one

Ok I downloaded it, and now there is no transparent spots. However, is it normal for the eyes to be blurred out? And some other parts like this? Also do I use the 1st face or the 3rd one on the left hand side? The 1st one if the one that starts with 000 and the one I chose is the 3rd one. They are both very similar though.

BTW thanks for the help so far :)

Yes it is normal for the eyes to look like that. The eyes are a differnt texture i believe. About the white color, make sure the alpha layer is turned off. Click channels and uncheck the last layer, but make sure the first is still checked.

Thanks for the info. I got 1 question though. If you put a real players face over the texture 5 file, would it turn out good in the game? How do people like your self make good CF's is what Im trying to get to. Nobody has ever really gave me an explanation. And I reallyyy wanna know. Thanks.
