NBA 98-99 Season Mod (in the works)

Something I have been working on just for personal use. A few ppl have PMed me saying they were interested so i figured id make a thread. I was doing total roster edits for STOMPTHECOURT's 1997 mod until my pc crashed. So ive taken that work, tweaked it a lil, and decided to do a new year that ive always wante do to recreate, the Lockout shortened season from 98-99. I would like to use all of the great graphic stuff from STOMPTHECOURT's 97 mod as long as he allows for it. Since Im not familiar with making cf's and other modding that needs to be done, I didnt know if I was going to finish this, but thanks to rayhoops1 kindly helping me, i think this will get completed. So if there ar enough people still interested in a 2k11 mod, ill post it here when it gets finished.


If you liked STOMPTHECOURTS 1997 mod, thats the mod that I used as my base. So all the good stuff from there, plus:

-Fixed ratings and tendencies
-NO CREATE-A-PLAYER FACES
-Correct ages, numbers, gear for all players
-Correct free agents
-Draft Classes
-Added secondary jerseys and ones that were missing
-All other adjustments for the 98-99 season(jerseys, courts,coaches)

Because it will be months b4 an editor and things i need to make a 2k12 roster will be released. Im hoping to eventually convert it over to 2k12 though.

Im actually almost totally done the player edits. Which was alot because I did alot of research & testing and edited every players, ratings tendencies, and sig shots. OCD about getting the right stats for all the players. But right now im waiting for someone to help me with a few graphical things, like a couple more CF's, and portraits. After I get that, I can release this.

-Also in kind of a fantasy aspect, im also leaving the Bulls (Jordan, Pippen, Rodman, Phil Jackson) in tact, since this mod will technically take place in October 1998, instead of the end of the Lockout in 1999. They all have 1 year contracts. If you want the actual scrub team the Bulls used after the lockout, you can just release the trio of stars, because all the other players will be there.

xoamberxo222, one question so the players lineups and bench players will be like in 98-99 season or like 97-98 season for all teams? i mean like it was in lockout season, because you mention about bulls that they will have that same players from 1998, but this is like i understand 98-99 mod, i'm just curious

Everything is the same as 98/99 except the Bulls will have Jordan, Pippen, Rodman. if you wanted it to be like it was after the lockout youd have to put pippen on the rockets, and put Jordan and Rodman in the free agents.

Sorry to everyone who was interested in this mod, but I never got the help on the last few things I needed to complete this. I didnt want to release an incomplete mod, so I had to decide against releasing this.
