This is an amazing idea, iPrototype and I'm really really excited about it. I've been wanting an 80s mod for a long time, but WOW. This is just intense! Haha.
Maybe you could also do the 85-86 season as well? Being a Celtics fan, that'd be a dream. If not that's totally cool, considering you're already putting out so much and I'm definitely not complaining. :applaud:

I remember some people wanted some seasons prior to the 85-86 season. I can definitely make some older mods since it'd be easier for me since I'll have the initial season mod. I got your back regret and thank you for the kind words. Like I said, if I can find some other people interested, we can make crazy progress on this.

Going to post some screens soon, I got really annoyed by doing so many CF's of players so I decided to make some fictional characters. Hope you guys like em :)

Thank you for the kind words CMartin, right now I'm just taking it day by day. Enjoying my week off, making some fantasy CF's on the side while still devoting time to this. I have yet to enlist a jersey and arena maker, pretty sad that the CF's and roster files are done for the '86-'87 season and all I need is the arenas and jerseys.

250+ CF's made for this mod, JUST one season with players and coaches combined. At least I will have a base to work with as I move forward through the first five years for the Progressive Mod. When I can get just a couple of jerseys to use, I will take screenshots, been also thinking about making a promotional video with actions from the game and animation as well. Post it up on youtube, market the hell out of it on twitter and other forums and maybe get the word spread about this mod. Oh well, talk is cheap, got to walk the walk.

This is just amazing... I wonder if you'll also do the draft classes for all the seasons, that would be even more spectacular. :) Good luck (Y)

Lots of work, but it's coming along slowly but surely. I may be able to squeeze in draft classes somewhere due to the fact that I will already have the face and the stats, only problem is to get association working since I am taking out teams. I'll probably find a work around. You know...if you ever decide to make courts again *cough cough* :cheeky:

osaki wrote:I hope you get some help with Arenas and Jerseys :?

Man I hope I do too, I am working on CF's for this and other projects. I kind of have my hands beyond full for this so all the help would be appreciated be it, CF's courts, or Jerseys.

Don't know if it's possible or not, I'm pretty sure it should be though. Anyway, thank you.

I believe it is possible, since I've seen the PBA2K11 mod has "lo-res jerseys and courts...

Yes of course, don't think just because I don't update it that much doesn't mean I am not working on it. The CF's are the hardest part and I am alone in that, I just got somebody to contribute doing the jerseys and all I need is the courts.

Plus it's the NBA finals, enjoy the playoffs and when basketball season is over play 2k11

What is? The basic idea behind this is "25 seasons, one game" with the range going from 1986-2011. It is just taking a while though and since I am basically working on it solo, yeah lol... Don't worry, I have something special planned for you guys though. (Y)

It seems like an overwhelming amount of work and time to cover. Most single year mods take about 3-4 months. But I'm optimistic
