Just finished a great game against the Mavericks, that the stats looked skewed at the end. They had around 23 more FG attempts than I did... but I had 39 FT's to their 12, so after looking through that, it was perfect. The game was crazy close all the way through, back and forth lead changes. Final score was 99-90 T-Wolves over Mavs (CPU).
Jason Terry and Tyson Chandler were just being huge on defense and offense, so I looked at their stats during a timeout, and both of them had 4 fouls to start the 4th quarter, so I went to work on them. Ended up drawing a foul on Chandler within the first minute of the 4th, so he sat until 2 minutes left, and then Jet picked up another foul with around 8 minutes to go... so he sat for around 5 minutes which allowed me to pull away.
Excellent game all around. I didn't have any one person over 20 Points... Wes Johnson had 20, but he was the high man. Dirk shot 8-20, scoring only 18pts. Overall, a great experience.

just editing some teams with a different approach :
the CPU will never run pick-and-roll without a set play being called and for this purpose I will assign that player no less than 3 basic pick-and-roll plays for his position and giving them a 0 drive the lane tendency to assure they rarely drive without a pick called. Set run plays to 100 for each team as it completely relies on "touches tendency". just set every coach profile shot tendency ( except for the Magic ) to 0 : reason is really simple: individual player tendencies are the only figures in the game that will dictate player behavior, and the second is because that's the only way to make some players NEVER do something. this is what has been discovered , i don't remember exactly where. Just tested Celts-Magic. Really liked the flow of the game. Few minor tweaks to the sliders has been done ( leaving shot tendency to 0 as well ).

juza, not sure what your last post is talking about. Set all teams to 100 for "run plays", and shot tendency to 0 (except for the Magic?).
Are you going to upload a new roster with these tweaks, and your updated sliders?

So here we go again mate. i decided to change things up working on a different scale to what concerns the following parameters cause there's something that really does not satisfy me at all about the playing style of many teams:
- isolation
- spot up tendency
- pull up / drive the lane for some of the best PG
- update playbooks
- revamped coach profiles ( needs to make cpu burns the clock more often than it's used to do also using "fast tempo" teams as the Warriors, Pacers and Suns )
- plus some new tips
- self post / post up for many big men like dh12 ,Stat and Scola: they basically face up the defender in the post and it's really weird how their tendencies has been set up without using any logic about their skills.
Stay tuned.
Of course my main goal is to get the best representation of a realistic game of basketball.

Juza ? do i need to set coach profile(shot tendency- attack the basket to 0 ?? or only the inside,close,mid and 3 ?

ye great job so far, i've seen animations and stuff like never before, next update will improve all that even further, keep it up.
where the heck is the damn patch for pc 2K, im just sick of those cheat fastbreaks by cpu and that i still see no charges ......
with those 2 things fixed teamstats would make a great step forward, especially nonsteal TO.
anyways, juza u made the game the most playable for me, thanks for that

So i ended up with the new shooting scale for every team coach profiles. As i used so far hoopsdata shot locations as a base off for my math formula i decided to use any single team shot locs from that site. Here a clear sample of what you are going to look for:
Magic :
13.0 19.4 at rim 67.0 42.4 5.4 12.2 <10 feet ( close shot) 44.7 35.1 2.4 6.3 38.3 39.0 5.9 14.5 mid range shot 40.6 56.5 9.1 24.6 3 pts shot 55.9 84.6
what i need now is a complete revamped formula that allow me to balance all this shot locs with the following parameters:
-attack the basket
- looking for post player
Really hard work.
Offensive tempo, fbs and boards have been set.

Any chance for a beta release juza? I'm a fiend for your rosters man. I've tried the other more popular rosters on the forum, and you just literally have nailed the gameplay and team tendencies.

Once the official patch comes out for PC, you'll probably need revisit some of the gameplay tweaks :/

hey juza just a quick question,
what can i do with the coach profiles to stop the cpu to take so many fastbreaks (which are unstopable on all star or higher)
i thought of lowering 10 or 20pts on FB for every coach, does that make sense ?
so far the only changes i did are strength on 1 for both (no or less forcefields) and amped up the fouls.

Juza looking forward to new rosters, great tendencies and great work all together its much appreciated, are you going to correct the team gear colors in your roster? i.e the heat wearing white gear at home, black on the road and such? thanks so much

nah.. my main gripe is to achieve the best gameplay throughout a deep analysis of each team shot location. No changes will be done to the "aesthetic" side until i reach my goal. BTW roster will hit the ground tomorrow.hope everyone enjoys this hard work put forth by myself.
didn't test any games cause as probably aware i got a social life as you LOL. So i need backup to improve further.
Any single tendency and player skill has been examined disrupted and re-rated using hoopdata.com as a base off.i will explain better.

i think the logical choice is to keep game speed at default ( 50) or a close value ( not less than 47 ). i use to play on pro but it's a personal choice , on higher levels you need to adjust sliders to reach a good balance but i repeat you can use any sliders that suite your taste and skills.

hi juza..first of all thanks for answering..
i played some games at level allstar (speed 48) and, as i said to lelets, i noticed too many TO from both sides...fg% high on both sides ( 55-60%% both ) and i decreased every shot slider by 1 or 2..what kind of sliders i have to adjust for TO???
play passing lane?? steal success??? thank you mate
PS Did you change sliders in your new roster??
