[KOVA] FINAL Roster Update RELEASED!! 08.03.2011.

The touches tendencies are a little low for playing Create A Legend. I added MJ to the Jazz and it felt like all the plays that were called were for me.

ok i fooled around with the coaching profile in regards of set plays (every team on 100) and offensive tempo which seems to be the key

i played against the warriors which i set from 90 to 39 ! and look at that, 87 FGA with 32 FTA and 14 TO
this is very close to the real thing, although i think i have to lower the foul shots a bit cuz some calls are way to sensitive.
i've also seen a couple of bad passes that led to unforced turnovers.

i play on superstar with kovas opening night roster, 12min quarters and gamespeed is atm set to 48 but i test it now with 50 cuz thats the way it should be.

to the warriors gamestyle: even though you might think they played slow with such a low value they didn't! they started kind of slow but they had to as my halfcourt defense was set. but still - overall they played fast, after the 1st quarter the cpu pushed constantly on fast breaks and if you dont stop the warriors run out u get killed of course

overall it was a pretty nice experience even while getting my butt kicked
cpu had lots of veriaty in their offense. i've seen fast breaks, half court playcalls, lots of one man show for monte ellis but some bad shots aswell

please dont mind the PIP, i played a very horrible 1st half especially on the defense while being lazy on offense.
at the superstar level on ball defense only wont get it done (for me anyways)
i think i've reached my goal to 90% with my very own slider set, some tweaks are still needed but this match was kind of fun, i play much faster then miami IRL so it was a fast paced game while still seeing enough half court action

even though i was quite euphoric in the previous post i dont want to spread to much happieness cuz i know i need to play at least 10 more games to see if it really works, 2K fooled to me often with good results via sliders in the past just to see them going down the drain in some specific matchups. i'll keep ya posted

played another game with heat vs bobcats on superstar and gamespeed 50 now; superstar level is killing me right now but i dont mind ^^
i lowered the foul calls a bit, and i might lower the "play passing lane" slider for cpu in addition to lowering users "pass accuracy" to have more nonsteal TOs like the cpu does. here the results, just look at the diffrence after half time, cpu went crazy

i still like the teamstats overall, even if bobcats had 10FTA less and therefore assumingly 5 FGA more they would have ended the match with 83 FGA!

kova, please update your great roster

i compared kovas roster with the newest one by 2k. even with the newest 2k roster i have normal fg attempts,from 75-90 sometimes a bit more or bit less,like in real nba, so to speak with the 2k coaching profiles settings. no probs. it works fantastic! the only thing i miss is the accesoirs. but gamplay is superb! i finally found the best sliders and ofcourse i had to tweak some players playbook. but even before i edited durants playbook he was not chucking 3s like crazy. now he shots around 22 times thats ok!!! +/- 5

Can you include Calvin's faces for Ish Smith and Semih Erden into your next roster?

I will include all shoes that were released for 2k11 and also converted ones from 2k10, when I Reditor is available.. I have to do it old fashioned way.. Or maybe not.. I just need reditor to make roster from new base or to assign new shoes..

wanted to inform you that the touches for the suns seem to be off, just played a match against 'em, i list some players with minutes and fg/fga(played on superstar):

turkoglu 7-27; 36m
nash 8-13; 36m along with 12assists looks god to me
j richardson 5-19;33m with 1-7 3ptFGA
frye 1-4; 18min
dragic 1-2; 13min
dudley 0-2; 12min

warrick and childress had 4 or 5 FGA with about 15-18min
i think turk needs a much lower value which should give the other roleplayers like frye, dudley and dragic more shots (i hope so)
suns need definitly a more balanced offense, j rich could benefit of a slightly lower touch value (max -5 i guess). steve nash seemed spot on though. he switched between distributing and scoring.


EDIT:

just looked up the touch tendency and its wiered. nash got 68 and turk 60, but hedo is taking way more shots. dunno what this is about

31.10.2010. Kova Opening Night Roster

Ok, here's my new roster.. I updated all players with a little help from my friend Makavetis who went through gears and accessories, so credits to him.. I fixed team contract options for a lot of players, added new trades and signatures, fixed some player ratings (there were complaints about some) and updated coach profiles according to nogsters/ronyell team sliders (thanks to them)..
I didn't have time to fix rotations because I promised I'd release today.. I think they were 90% good, but you can fix them yourselves if you want it different..

UPDATE: Added Cfs and portraits to most of created players, credits to Pinoyako2k7, fixed rotations..

Now, a question. Are you planning to edit coaches atributes when REDitor comes out? (I'm thinking of Keith Smart, Monty Williams... who are quite low rated in the game).
