your logical assertion is partially correct: i have set run plays for each team at 100 using the touches tendency as a filter to distribute plays among any player.Due to this,in order to obtain real simmed stats, i need to revamp a new formula scale for each shot tendency. this will be done in the future: my main gripe, now, is to achieve a perfect balanced gameplay representing on the court every team playing style.

it seems to me that this formula is close to real stats:
Shot Tendency = FGA p/48 * 3

shot tendency re-edited to match simmed stat during aso mode. just fixing rotations and coach profiles.

Yep .. :lol: And the rotations of each player only effects of quick game not on asso mode cause the cpu will re adjust it so the shots tendency will be the key ..

Juza thanks for the work! I am trying to crack the code myself. I am off work today and doing some testing.

One thing that you mentioned earlier is that the CPU doesn't run pick n rolls. So even for big guys it might be worthwhile to add a few pick n roll sets (big man as screener) to better simulate the play selection of NBA teams. For instance Amare should probably have two isolation sets and two pick n rolls as his four plays. DHoward might have two low post catches and two pick n rolls. This has helped the game out a lot for me.

One thing I am trying to do is find the right speed settings. I want the difference between athletic players and non-athletic players to be more magnified.

I am also trying to find a way for defenders to play more sagging/help defense.

thanks jrlocke really appreciate your feedback. just testing a different speed/quickness/on ball defense/ball handling formula to get something close to the real playing style of each player: for instance, D Rose speed needs to be tuned down ( around 83 ) to make his first step more dominant: speed 82 ( max speed obviously set to 85) and quickness 99 . On the other side,for ex. Paul Pierce: average speed off the ball around 70 but his quickness needs to be lowered in the 60s,Melo speed/quick 85/70, DH12 75/65,Iggy 72/78 ...this is due to the parameters filled up onto my personal database using as a base skills like age,verticality,strength etc etc.It's a realyy hard work as i have to revisit all my coach profiles scale but i like it.

@Juza i may have found a fix for the roto sitch many are complaining about u may wanna add in the roster description to turn player rules off in ASo mode rotos seem to be the same as quick games

just finished 48 mins of great bball!!!!!! bulls (me) vs bucks. bulls won 103-96. bulls 76 fga bucks 92. i know everyone would say eh thats too much but!!! bucks had 16 off rebs!!!!! bogut got 10!!! off rebs. my defense was fantastic. i protected the paint. bucks only got 12 fts. rose was icecold first half but exploded in the second!!! went to the line more often. juz lowering rose's speed and giving him 99 quickness imitates beautiful his real life play!!! murder first step!!! overall superb experience. next game will be boston (me) vs wolves... :mrgreen: i would suggest you all play on superstar. first time i did not experience those stupid runs for me than cpu an so on. i was behind 3 points then up by 4. biggest lead was i think 11 points for me. keep up your superb work juz!!!

Need to make some minor tweaks to the Bucks FB Coach profiles maybe clicking down 1 or 2 points and tunin up Bulls crashboards .

i think the 1.5 roster is a step backwards, had the feeling 1.4 went more into the right direction. seeing a lot more fast breaking now and the bitch about this is that now i can't stop it like i was able to in previous versions :/ - am i the only one ? celtics play wiered, rondo's influence is kind of low and shaqs taking midrange jumper that are going in.

yes clearly experienced that. Made some adjustments to rondo's tendency and few tweaks to Boston fast break coach profiles.Now everything works well.
