By redoing, I don't mean starting from scratch per se, but taking a fresh roster, preparing it with all the players I need to add - i.e. renaming original players I'm overwriting with the names of the players they're going to become - and then copying and pasting the data between files in REDitor II. It's still a bit of a process, but at least I've got the existing data of the new players to copy over. It means that I'm basically starting over without completely starting over; it's just about getting the data into a fresh, working roster.
