NBA2K11 2013-2014 Season COMPLETE UPDATE!!

Im glad there is a little bit of work still being done on 2k11 current season. i dropped by the 2k11 forum today for the first time in a couple of weeks expecting to download those new iamLillard style 13,14 courts and seen that they still haven't been released yet smh. us diehard 2k11 fans get teased like no other. Thats why i am a firm believer that if you want something done you gotta do it yourself.Not to sound ungrateful but some put up previews on 2k11 and you never hear from um again.

Here I’m back with some sweet updates for the 2013-2014 Season Here's the newest Roster file I've been working on 2013-2014 Roster w/ Levy's updates

The roster ratings for the actual season were made by mkharsh33 in a collective project for Xbox at Operation Sports. What I did was to copy the skills, tendencies and animation for each player on the roster (approx. 400 of 440 players were updated!) the rest is unchanged from the previous version I had up on NLSC.

My contribution to this Roster file was creating the real coaches for every team because no one succeeded in doing it (in most of the cases it caused game crashes when people tried to change them). There’s one exception: Frank Vogel who isn’t anywhere to find with a CFs so I decided to keep Nate McMillan as HC. I’ve been added the missing coach CFs from the game to this upload, just copy them into the game’s main folder.

One more thing, there are 2 versions of the roster file:
#1 one that gives you the typical 2K arcade-ish, chaotic, fast paced style of game completely unrealistic in my opinion as an NBA fan for more than 20 years. Sadly this tendency continues with the newer installment of the game (2K13, 2K14)…
#2. one with a slower, smarter style of play, the way the game should be (I changed the coach settings for every past, present and future coach by adjusting Run Plays to 50 and Fast Break to 0).

#2 should work like a charm if you use my Game Sliders: Levy's sliders

This is not a definite version of the 2013-2014 Roster! I personally still don’t like the adjustments patchers do (in this case the collective behind mkharsh33). If I would play the actual season I would at least tone down the Play Lanes for each player just to start with because it is way too high and it makes the flashy passes almost non-existent in the game and increases unrealistically the number of steals per game for CPU.

P.S. DO NOT PM me about my uploaded work unless you are a Patcher as well and you want to share some of your ideas/projects. I can’t help you with basic PC operations or general questions you should address on the forum.

No, if you want things to roll flawlessly:

1. Make a new install of 2K11

2. Unzip & copy everything from gentwo3three to your new installed game folder

3. Unzip the patch from last season (2012-2013) made available by siraulo23 & aslanhasan, find and copy ONLY the cyberfaces/CFs from that package (basically you need the CFs starting with number 8000 onward because those are the rookies for last year).

4. If you don't want to play with empty spaces instead of player names and squares instead of team names, then add my updated roster file for the actual NBA teams/players only (a few players might be still missing including some 2013 2nd Round Draft Picks).

On the other hand I see my updated roster file has more than 600 downloads and not even one vote or a thank you. That's just sad how people think/act nowadays...

In a newsflash, I am working on a final update for the actual ending season doing in depth changes to each player while creating 1-2 missing players for each team. Basically I can do only 2 or 3 teams every day because it is so much time consuming. I also found a new way to do the sliders in order to work with the realistic roster patch.

I put so much work in it that I am thinking seriously to not share it for free... If shit sells on eBay for a couple of bucks then this should worth a couple more for real fans of this awesome aka the best 2K NBA game.

I have no idea what you're doing wrong but the links are good and the download starts right away for me and I'm sure for everybody else. Assuming you typed in correctly the captcha words they ask but still can't download them then probably it is a Windows related issue or it has something to do with the country you are in. I am very sorry, there's not much I can do for you.

I think you are downloading the wrong roster file! The latest one that has no messed up names (which was an error made by the original creator by "cloning" some players, not me) was made available for NLSC by me here: 2013-2014 Roster with Levy's Updates. Enjoy!

In other news, I decided to dedicate myself fully to NBA 2K11. I even deleted all the other NBA games from my PC because if you are a serious gamer you already know they are far inferior to 2K11.

I am also working on an update to the 2013-14 season, basically I want to do a 2013-14 Playoff edition. But it will take a lot of time to make it perfect and I don't know when it will be ready because I'm also working on my classic rosters right now, the 1997-98 season goes first. One thing I know: all my roster files won't be free. They will be up for DL as separate DLC packages for a small amount of money payable via PayPal. Probably the price of a healthy salad for each file/season.

I thought i was the only one liking 2k11 than other games out there. I am also committed to this game man!
I will be converting faces like rookies from 2k14 to 2k11., i just don't know how to change court colors. It would be great if someone also create the updated courts with fixed logos and colors...

Oh no, we are many who like 2K11 the most, believe me! But we stay hidden. Those rookies are a MUST and everybody would be greatly pleased to see them in our game so yes, take your time and play around with them.

I will have a look at how to change the colors and maybe the logos too. At the moment I am playing with the portraits, took me 2 days and 2 PCs (NBA2KModTool doesn't work with Win7 on 64 with AMD) to figure it out how it's done.

They look great in-game but...I won't use this because somehow it affects the shorts making them look dirty and splashed when player moves on the court. I'm sure it isn't just me.
