newc, thank you. Glad to have another follower ;)

shadowgrin, okay, you had the honor to post the 1000th reply in this threat. Everybody else had the chance I guess, so I'm gonna reward you. You will be allowed to influence the development of two players after this season (I hope this one is still running then).

Sweet! It's because of the Sixers! NLSCers or any NBA player?

Lakers defeated again, Rockets down them, and they are first in the West? Makes me love this association a lot more now.

I was thinking about your Sonics yesterday. Looks like a tough year so far, but at least you might get a high lottery pick and give Chase another future superstar to develop with. Of course, it's always nice to win as soon as possible too :)

Thoughts?

I'll give the Sonics another year to qualify for the playoffs. I think you should trade Evans, he is prone to injury and I think his not the right partner for Chase. Maybe you can trade him for a good PF and some other player.

|)e8*, oh yeah, thanks for pointing out that mistake ;)

shadowgrin, I don't have NLSCers in this D - so you will have to go with real NBA players. But if you want, you can decided wether to design a rookie of affect the development of two players.

Design a rookie (only puttin did this so far (1st price), his rookie will be presented soon):

I give you the name and the College and you can tell me everything, from the looks to the attributes and tendencies. Rating must be in the range of a lottery pick, not higher, not worse.

Cruzerr, thanks man. Always nice to have some new followers ;)

Axel., yeah, I thought about making an article about the Rockets. They're goddam effective, never put up fancy stats, but are successfull.

Houndy, will post about his injury soon.

Grandmama Johnson, the injuries pile up and we definitely have to get that 9th or 10th spot or Hov might be fired. This year's draft isn't very strong, so I'm not sure about adding another star via draft. Free Agency 2012 will be important.

dare, Evans has so much potential, but you're right, he's injured quite often and maybe both (him and Chase) need the ball too much in their hands. We'll see what GM Hova does.

Thanks for all your comments guys, appreciated ;)

Since I get two players, one will be an NBA player and the other one a draft prospect. :D
I think it's obvious which NBA player I will pick to become 'great'.
For the draft prospect, I'm inclined for a projected 2nd round/late first round pick despite your conditions. :P
Not to edit much, just bumping up the Potential and Offensive or Defensive Clutch attributes in the range of 90-99. While lowering the Foul tendency to 35-40. That way, that pick will have the potential to become a good/serviceable player in the league without affecting his draft position because the main skill attributes are unedited.
It's still after this season, so I'll wait until then.

Lamrock, I have problems to play well over 48 minutes. I tend to lead at some point and then get crushed by a big run that I can't counter later on.

███ Sonics' injury problems continue
SEATTLE (AP)

The Seattle Supersonics keep being hampered by injuries this season. After Donte Greene and Jason Maxiell have been cleared to play two days ago, the Sonics lost Luis Chase in a loss to the Sixers on Monday. Chase got hit in the chest on defense and the already injured ribs will cause him to miss about two weeks of action.

"He's in much pain right now, bruised ribs cause more pain than broken ribs actually", Sonics Coach Hova said.

The Sonics are also still missing Tyreke Evans who is still suffering from a separated shoulder and won't be able to play in this week's games against New Orleans, Phoenix and the Lakers.

███ Short-handed Magic keep falling
ORLANDO (AP)

The Orlando Magic have lost three games in a row after a successfull 10-2 start to the season and a lot of it has to do with injuries to key players.

Dwight Howard has problems with his achilles tendon and has missed the last three games, Hedo Turkoglu injured his arm in the Magic's 120-90 loss @Orlando.

Howard is so far averaging 17.9 points and 12.1 rebounds while Turkoglu adds 13.5 points and 2.2 assists per game.

The Magic will also miss backup guard Chris Duhon, who will be out until the All-Star Weekend. Duhon broke a bone in his foot and had it repaired in a surgery last week.

The Magic are third in the East with 10-5, trailing the 9-4 Bulls and the 13-2 Heat.

███ Tyrus Thomas: I'm an All-Star
CHARLOTTE (AP)

The Charlotte Bobcats are only the 9th worst team in the league with a 6-9 record and a lot of it can be attributed to Tyrus Thomas' explosion this season.

Thomas is averaging 20.3 points, 10.4 rebounds and 1.8 blocks per game for the Bobcats, who were predicted the worst team in the league after giving away their All-Star calibre players in Gerald Wallace (Blazers) and Stephen Jackson (Clippers) this offseason.

Thomas has posted some monster-games recently like his 26/15 game in a win over the Nets or his 33 points and 14 boards in a loss to the Mavs. He has posted new-career highs this season in scoring (33), rebounding (19), off. boards (8), FGA (25) and FGM (15).

"If I am not an All-Star this season, who is it then?", Thomas said in an interview with ESPN recently.

███ Free Steve Nash
PHOENIX (AP)

An internet campaign of some Canadian Steve Nash fans has caused some late controversy about the role of the two-time MVP playmaker and his future in Phoenix.

The Phoenix Suns are still the worst team in the league. The Suns started 0-10 into the season before winning two of the first three games under the rule of new headcoach John Kuester.

Now at 2-11, many Nash-fans hope that their favorite point guard will get traded before February in order to have a chance to play for a Championship ring.

The homepage http:\\www.freeSteveNash.com has a forum in which fans can discuss which team Nash should get traded to. Feel free to join and speculate or propose deals.

Nash is so far averaging 18.5 points and 6.4 assists but is also affected by his poor supporting cast. Nash does not want to comment his situations.

███ Duke early favorite for the NCAA title?
DURHAM (AP)

The Duke Blue Devils have won their first five games leading the Atlantic Coast Conference early in the season.

Alvin Lewis, in his third and probably last year at Duke, scored 34 points in Duke's win over Wake Forest last night. Lewis, who is looking to finally win a College title now that UConn seems beatable without Lance Meredith, is averaging 18.5 points per game.

"I want to finish what I started here two years ago when I arrived at Duke", Lewis said. The 6-8 small forward is a projected lottery pick for the upcoming draft if he declares.

Okay guys, thanks for your replies, I have a new offer for you:

We all want Steve Nash to play for a contender at the end of his career - so feel free to send me trade options and proposals via PM (you can look at the roster of the teams if you go to the 2nd post of this thread, scroll downlow and look at the previews!).

The one with the best proposal will be rewarded with the designing of one rookie for the upcoming draft. Feel free to send me PMs !!
