Loving the draft previews. (Y) Aside of giving away their first rounder, I like Dumars' moves as well.

Go New York Go New York Go !

Hopefully Amare grabs mvp as well earning a ring for the Knicks

Unlucky for Pau , in fact unlucky all around for the Lakers as iam sure Bryum is pretty close to been injuried as usual.

Yep, I'd agree on Joe D's moves. I liked the Gordon-Childress/Dudley & Rip/T-Mac-K-Mart trades & would've liked the Young deal if not for giving up a lottery pick in a strong draft (N)

Amar'e is currently 2nd in the MVP race behind Melo

Image PIC OF THE DAY

Image
Jonny Flynn falls in shock after making his first shot he took against the Sixers. Considering he's shooting around 30% from the floor and turning the ball over four times per game, it's not surprising he was shocked to make a contested jump shot. As a result of the shock, he strained his lower back and will be out for about 2 to 4 weeks. Hopefully the break will help him find his shooting touch and some semblance of pure point guard skills, although either or would be fine at this point.

So yeah, took me a couple of days to get the above post up (above Sit's), such is how busy things are at moment. Probably won't be any updates until the weekend at earliest. Crazy busy at work, doing long days at work & home, such is life. And obviously family stuff in non-work time so haven't had any chance to play any 2k11 of late. Hopefully get to fire up a game this weekend.

In the meantime, I'm really over my backup point guards. They stink. I can't get Ridnour's crazy jumpshot release & Telfair is only good if you're Sit. I really need a Blake-like PG. Even Sessions would be nice. Wait a sec, Kahn traded him. Kahhhhnnnn!!!!! But yep, there will be a deal, Ridnour seems like he's toast at the mo. Telfair is junk so I don't care. I could actually get Tony Parker for Beas & a 2nd Rounder but won't due to lack of realism factor, unless he walks at end of season for free agency, then that would be realistic. Anyways, at some point the dice will roll. I have wings coming out of my ears, Love is handling the boards & the Darko/Peko tag team is livable for now, but I like my point guards to be half decent. I don't blame Flynn, I'll get use to his game, but Ridnour is just a joke at the moment (N)

Yep, was an injury filled game. Hawes clutched his stomach all game when walking on & off the court after I hammered him :P Bynum was dodgy, now he's out a few weeks :P And Flynn lasts 4 minutes, hits one sweet jump shot, gets contact on follow through & is out for up to a month

But yep, Rubio would be nice, but no luck (N)

I told you man, get Patty Mills. Wait... he's not a pass first point guard.

Any good free agents you may be able to pick up?

However, since you are going the trade route. Dunno what you think of Chris Duhon or TJ Ford. :)

EDIT: X, any shot of bringing in Nash? I don't think so due to Wolves being worse situation than Phoenix... but just a thought.

Wow, Kevin Love is on fire, two 20-10 games in a row is decent. Oh and good win against LA, simmed game though ;)

Your record looks turrible pro-rata. Tough break losing Flynn, but actually, not really. This would be a great opportunity to pick up a couple wins.

+1 here, although that's expected since you are the Wolves after all...sucks about the injury, any shot at say Andre Miller, Kirk Hinrich or Jose Calderon to fill in, hold the fort and wait for Rubio?

Duhon might be alright, CJ Watson. I'll have to check free agents available, might trade Ridnour & pick up a free agent.

No to Nash though. Not realistic.

Yep, about time Love started to produce :P

All good, except for fact Ridnour IRL has a nice midrange jumper. He gets hammered on drives, he's got to hit his jump shots & because of his release, I give up on him (N)

Not going to happen :P

 It'll get better this season, just not playoff better. You could be right about Flynn, I am now 1-0 without him :P

I'm not looking for a PG on their level. More a gap-fill PG who is a good backup & can start if necessary, e.g. Steve Blake, CJ Watson, Jarrett Jack, etc

I would like to suggest the return of Juan Carlos Navarro but that seems to be unrealistic also. :)

Maybe a Kirk Penney if you can find a CAP or make him yourself  He did receive some interest from NBA and Heal did play for Wolves early in decade. :D

If he's in 2k11 free agents, maybe he comes across next year. As for Penney, not going to happen

You'll have steak with him? Okay then, you do that :P

Anyways, will try to get at least one game played this weekend. Unfortunately after two hardcore weeks at work, I'll be doing some work from home this weekend before getting into next week's work (N)

He's definitely an option hova. Haven't had a chance to fire up 2k in a week so still undecided.
