over the Toronto Raptors earlier tonight.
The injury will require surgery and Turner is expected to miss the rest
of the regular season and most of the NBA playoffs, shall the Bulls make
it deep.
For the season, Turner has been averaging 9.2 points, 2.4 rebounds, 1.7 assists,

Chicago's sixth man. He has been shooting 44% from the field and 74% from the

Paxson fired following altercation with Del Negro
February 4th, 2011
Bulls vice president of basketball operations John Paxson has officially been fired
after he had allegedly twice shoved Vinny Del Negro and had to be restrained following
a post-game confrontation yesterday evening.
Chicago's 3rd overall pick rookie Evan Turner suffered a season-ending injury in the
game during garbage time.
Reports has it that Paxson first grabbed a hold of Del Negro’s tie and seemingly tried
to provoke him with two successive jabs into his chest. Paxson was even heard to
angrily challenge Del Negro to a fight.
"We are extremely disappointed in John's actions and as a result of that, he has been
removed as the organization's vice president of basketball operations." Chicago's
General Manager Leo Lai, who would be assuming control of all basketball operations
after the departure of Paxson, stated in the press conference earlier today
Chicago Signs Sharpshooter Anthony Morrow, Waives White
February 4th, 2011

Leo Lai has announced a Free Agent signing to replace the spot of injured
Evan Turner.

per team policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Morrow was signed by the Golden State Warriors after going undrafted in the 2008
NBA Draft. In his first NBA start, he scored 37 points against the Los Angeles Clippers,
the most points ever scored in a game by an undrafted player in his rookie season
Morrow finished the 2008-09 season as the first rookie ever to lead the league in
three-point field goal shooting with a .467 percentage.
He would add to Chicago valuable shooting that is almost non-existent aside

Bulls fires Del Negro, looking for replacement during ASW
February 8th, 2010
Chicago Bulls General Manager Leo Lai announced today that Vinny Del Negro has been relieved
of his duties as the team’s head coach.
Even though the Bulls currently hold the first seed in the Eastern Conference, they are just 31-20,
which in the West would land them in the 5-7th seed areas. For a team featuring the dynamic duo
of Derrick Rose and Dwyane Wade with the combination of All-Star players in Luol Deng, Josh Smith,
and All-Star caliber talent in Joakim Noah as well as a strong bench, they are underachieving badly
and most of it is due to Del Negro's incapability at directing end-game plays.
Of their 20 losses, 9 of them had a margin of 5 points or less. This is clearly the coaches fault when
a team loses so many games in crunch time due to the inability to execute on offense and get stops
on the defensive end.
In his 2 1/2 seasons with Chicago, Del Negro has amassed a record of 104-110 in the regular season,
made the playoffs once (first year) and has a playoff record of 3-4.
Del Negro met with chairman Jerry Reinsdorf yesterday after the Bulls' 98-105 lost
to the Orlando Magic, and tried to fight for his job, citing the grow of Derrick Rose and Joakim Noah
as well as pushing Deng over the hump to become a first time all-star alongside Rose last season, but
to no avail.
In a related move, top assistant coach Del Harris has announced retirement
dare wrote:Del Harris also gone, you have a lot of coaching staff signings to do. Make sure you hire someone good for Wade and Rose
