Chara Confident As Usual
SEATTLE, May 27 (AP) – Moses Chara has laughed off the notion that his teammates are angry at him for his scathing postgame comments after Game 6. He even added a bit of insult directed at his opponents on the Seattle Stealth.
After a 93-90 Game 6 loss to the Stealth, Chara had said “Everyone played bad on my team. I’m carrying them and they’re just not performing.”
“I said some things but my teammates know that I was speaking the truth,” Chara stated in response to that statement, “I can’t sugar-coat everything. The reason why we lose here is because my teammates don’t step up – when they don’t play well enough. If I don’t tell them that, who will?” He added, “Unlike Kevin Durant, I actually have my guys’ respect.”
Chara looked ahead to Game 7 and believed that his team had what it took to pull off an upset win on Seattle’s home court. “We’re the better team,” Chara said, “We’ve won on their court before. We have Stack (Jerry Stackhouse) and Queen (Shaquille O’Neal) who are hungry for rings so I am confident that we can win Game 7. The road ends here for Seattle.”

SEATTLE, May 27 (AP) – After Seattle Stealth practice, Coach Sit allowed only his two captains to speak to media. Kevin Durant wasn’t very interesting as he refused to answer any questions about speculations on upcoming Game 7. Jason Kidd said that he was hoping his guys could win so that he could make a return in the NBA Finals.
“I’m staying focused. I’m staying calm. I’m not going to think about the next game until it comes,” Durant told reporters. Kidd, sidelined with a separated shoulder, had high hopes for his team, “Allen (Iverson) has to play a good game. Same with Reshawn (Tyson), Andrew (Bogut) and David (Lee). I see these guys playing big minutes. It’s time to pull out all the stops. If we can win Game 7, I should be healthy to be back in Game 3 or Game 4 of the NBA Finals.”
Kidd also refused to talk about any impending retirement plans, “Let’s take it one step at a time.” The 40 year old Kidd is coming off-contract this Summer.

If so, any chance you'll allow me to give it all to Jay Gray?

Or edit his age, give him a contract worth like seven years and tell us that he's playing til he's 50.

Who do you like more? Gray or Chris Paul?
