Axel. wrote:Stop being so humble and modest, Sit, you're supposed to be like Kobe and say you're the best out there. Anyways congrats! I wasn't there from the beginning, but it's been fun to follow your story. Since I'm almost out of school, I plan to read ALIB I and work my way up from there since I'll have a lot more spare time.

Durant Fined Over Burger King Incident
February 7, SEATTLE – NBA leading scorer and Stealth star Kevin Durant was fined by his own team today after the now infamous ‘Burger King Incident’. Durant was fined $ 50, 000 for leaving the stadium during a recent game; spending most of the second half at a local Burger King with friends.
Durant was not discovered until employees uploaded pictures of him at their premises. When asked about the incident after the game, he had brushed it off and stated that he ‘had extra privileges because of his talent’. The next morning, he was making outlandish comments to the media such as, “I am the MVP of this league and I can do whatever I want.”
The Stealth are currently riding a 30 game winning streak entering tonight’s game against the Atlanta Hawks. Durant’s fining comes at a bad time as the team is trying to break the 33 game record set by the LA Lakers in 1972.
Durant was furious with the penalty and this morning told beat writers, “This is not how you treat a franchise player. This is not how you treat the player who has carried this team since they came into this league. Do they not know who I am?”
Stealth General Manager Will Sit made a statement before dropping the fine. He told press, ‘It is my belief that every player is treated equally in this league. Kevin Durant should not be leaving NBA games without a legitimate reason. Going to a fast food restaurant while an NBA game is in progress is not acceptable. I hope that he will learn and grow from this punishment.’
Stealth coach George Karl has distanced himself from Sit on the matter and stood by his star player, “Kevin Durant is this team’s rock. Without him, we would not be where we are today.”
