I spend about 2-3 hours/week on this association. Why do you ask?

Just want to know if it would be very time-consuming or not bcoz i have been here in more than a year, and never tried to make my own dynasty/association...also i was inspired to make one bcoz of the success of your association-2000+ replies, 40+ pages, and still very active! just awesome...congrats.

Milestone Celebration

2, 000 posts and quickly approaching 40, 000 views (1, 500 till 40k). Maybe our dynasty stat men The X or Lamrock can explain the significance. I believe this is the longest running dynasty/association ever? Views, I am lagging, but we are in a 'dynasty participation downturn' so I am pleased with my results/efforts.

I would just like to extend my thanks to everybody who has taken the time to read even just 1 update, althogh hopefully you have read more/most of my updates.

As for keeping on going with this one, I do not know and cannot promise that the Stealth will continue for a fourth season. As you will notice, this story has gone on 2, 3, or maybe even 4 long breaks due to real life commitments and it's just tough to keep something like this going. However, I do urge people to join up as NLSC players in case this does continue. At a later date, I will decide on the future direction of this association.

To reiterate, I am very very pleased with how this has panned out. I did not think it would last more than 6 months and look where we are now.

The whole point of coming back with ALIB II is to tell the story of Moses Chara, Reshawn Tyson, and Rocky Akonnor but I have found myself swept up by the stroy of Kevin Durant, whilst in the process have shunned Chara to the background. I really do hope that everyone has enjoyed this as much as I have!

Lamrock - My number 1 follower. I would just like to thank you first because you were the one who got me out of 'retirement' by posting in ALIB 1 asking me to give it a proper ending. I wish I could because it's still on my computer... but don't know if it is possible. Although you disappear for brief-long stints, whenever you are active, you are one of the most enthusiastic in this section. Thank you for that cause you help this keep going.

Thierry - I am very grateful that you take the time to read this thread because I know you are more of a pictures guy than a text one.

The X - You would understand how much we put into these threads. Thanks for following since the start as well. Not sure to what depth of following you put in but thanks.

Valor - Thanks for following and talking to me about our basketball lives.

The significance is more to do with the longevity & support it gets from the NLSC Dynasty community.

My gold standard for dynasties/associations tend to be 1,500 posts/30,000 views. My silver standard is 1,000 posts/20,000 views. My bronze standard is 750 posts/15,000 views

There may be more & some of the high bronze standards are so close to silver standard that they should more or less be silver standard. I think anybody who "medals" is good enough for Hall of Fame. Anybody else who does great work but over a shorter span should be honorable mentions in the Hall of Fame. But that's just my opinion.

Back on topic, this dynasty is actually going to force me to create a new category, which I'll dub X's Platinum category. You will reach it in due time when you hit 2,500 posts/50,000 views


As for longest running dynasty, you're not even close Honor Glow's lasted over 2 years: viewtopic.php?f=90&t=14145&start=0

Although granted his was very sporadic updates & very sim in nature. However Honor Glow's was easily one of my favourite dynasties (partly because he somehow integrated my Live '04 Nuggets' dynasty & players into it & they became part of it).

You've easily got the strongest non-picture/story based dynasty ever. No doubt about that. Congrats
