Nice eye-candy. High scoring game. Did you play at all?
Mon Feb 07, 2011 6:57 am
High field-goal percentage!

Did you do what I do and make a set of Arcade sliders for ASW?
Mon Feb 07, 2011 7:05 am
Looking very sweet, I like.
Lamrock, I always do that, setting def sliders to zero etc. I also tend to change sides each quarter, I want to play with both teams.
Mon Feb 07, 2011 7:46 am
Wow! Really eye candy! Loved that presentation!!! Nice to see Rose playing solidly, but still the black mamba is the man...
Mon Feb 07, 2011 8:03 am
Great presentation, hate the result.
Mon Feb 07, 2011 8:34 am
wow! very nice. as you can see...the west is still the best
the TD screenshot looks kinda wierd for a sig screenshot haha
Mon Feb 07, 2011 9:09 am
So Carmelo won MVP?
who was traded to New Jersey a couple of days after the All-Star rosters were announced

West 150?
@ 18-12 rebounds
Thanks man. Yeah tried to make all the shots fall in, not a lot of boards.Houndy wrote:Nice eye-candy. High scoring game. Did you play at all?
Thanks man, and yeah, played as the West.Lamrock wrote:High field-goal percentage!

It was a dunk fest! Yes, used the Casual sliders and edited them a little.

Thanks Hov, also loving the film strip. Let's see what shadow says.

Rose was unstoppable, I managed to block a shot by him with Kobe in the last second.Martti. wrote:Great presentation, hate the result.
At least LeBron and Flash had a nice contribution.

You mean the last TD screenshot? That's a signature hustle move by him.Sit wrote:So Carmelo won MVP?
Yeah, didn't you see the vid?
Melo was traded to the Nets in the trade deadline.Did you guys like the pictures? Mixin' it up at Photoshop and trying different filters.
Mon Feb 07, 2011 9:50 am
Yes, pics were excellent. Coverage was great, love the result, but hate how Yao was inexistant; he's not in the box score, not even mentioned once in the recap. Only existant in the screens.
Mon Feb 07, 2011 10:00 am
So if Melo got traded before the Allstar why did he played for the West? Nice presentation btw
Mon Feb 07, 2011 1:18 pm
Hope this happens in real life

. I'm loving the pics, and nice job with the presentation.

My point exactly!
EDIT: Makes sense because if he was traded after rosters were announced, the NBA couldn't just put him into the East All-Stars team.

Weekly Rewind N° 17 • Redd looking for a fresh start, second half of the season starting and more...
nba.com/spurs/morningcoffee | February 20th, 2011

SAN ANTONIO -- Welcome to the latest installment of my “Morning Coffee” blog, Spurs fanatics. I have some more tidbits here in the table for us to discuss. I'm doing a weekly report with things that happened around the league, including: signings & waivings; POTW honors; Power Rankings; injury report; All-Star voting and trading rumors. Hope you join the discussion!
• Michael Redd to test free agency • A team spokesman today said the Milwaukee Bucks won’t offer a contract extension to Michael Redd. Redd, who is from Ohio State and has played all 57 games for the Bucks so far this season but only 20.0 minutes per game (a career-worst since his rookie year) and is not filling nicely into Milwaukee's rotation. Redd will be a unrestricted free agent. His time in Milwaukee wasn't brief: he's in the team since 2000-01, and enjoyed a 26.7 points, 3.7 rebounds, 2.3 assists in the 2006-07 season, including an All-Star berth. To Bucks fans, he's the team leader, despite only playing 18 games last year and 33 in 2008-09. The Bucks fans greeted him with boisterous cheers last night, when the Bucks hosted the Minnesota Timberwolves in the Bradley Center. The bottom line is that if Redd ends up ‘testing’ free agency, he’s probably leaving. “My heart is in Milwaukee and the fans know that I love this city,” Redd said, “but I feel I need a fresh start somewhere else and get an opportunity with a contender before my body can't keep up.”
• Players of the Week • The Miami Heat's Dwyane Wade and the Oklahoma City Thunder's Kevin Durant today were named the Eastern and Western Conference Players of the Week, respectively, for games played February 13 - 19. Wade and the Heat had a 2-1 week -- with victories over Indiana and Toronto and a last-second loss at Boston. In the loss to the Celtics, Wade flirted with a triple-double, posting 27 points, ten rebounds and seven assists. Wade finished the week with averages of 28.0 points, 6.3 rebounds and 5.6 assists. Oklahoma City's Durant averaged 37 points along with 7.0 rebounds and 2.5 steals, as the Thunder posted a 1-1 week.
• Power Rankings • Best teams of the week? San Antonio (2-0), Orlando (2-0), Boston (2-0), Houston (2-0), Memphis (2-0), New Orleans (2-0). The worst? LA Clippers (0-3), Golden State (0-3), Cleveland (0-2), Charlotte (0-2), Philadelphia (0-2), New Jersey (0-2). High jumps -- Chicago (+4), New Orleans (+4), New York (+4), Memphis (+3), Toronto (+3), Sacramento (+2), Detroit (+2). Free falls -- Washington (-5), Denver (-5), Dallas (-3), Utah (-2), LA Clippers (-2), Golden State (-2). Check the power rankings (Top 7) here -- the Spurs took the 2nd spot behind Miami and the Lakers fell to the 3rd.
• A look ahead on the second half of the season... • As the San Antonio Spurs enter the stretch run of the 2010-11 season, it’s a bit of a good news-bad news. The good news -- they have a not very hard schedule in April. Only seven games, with two breaks of two days between games. Of those seven games, five are against teams that are below .500% or not more than three games over .500%. The bad news -- March is brutal. Seven games in the first 12 days, including four back-to-backs. Also two three-game road trips, two games against MIami, a game against the Lakers, and contests with Dallas and Boston. The Spurs stand at 40-16 -- last season, the Spurs had a great 12-5 record in March, that was a major reason they won 50 games. In contrast, the team was only 5-3 in April.
It’s unfair to expect the Spurs to lose only a couple of games in March -- specially with the team contending with a new player in Drew Gooden, replacing Antonio McDyess. They will need a very good record in the month as they jockey for the 1st seed in the West; March will be an unforgiving month. Perhaps the biggest game of the season is shaping up to be April 12 in Los Angeles against the Lakers. The two teams have been battling each other in the standings throughout the year, and in head-to-head matchups, the Lakers are 2-0 -- in December 28, Kobe Bryant scored 55 points for a 114-109 win, and in February 3, Derek Fisher made a last-second buzzer-beater for a 112-110 victory. If the Spurs can win in March (at the AT&T Center) and pull out the game at Los Angeles in April, they will pretty much end up with the first seed in the conference, likely meaning they will face teams like Memphis (30-28), Denver (29-29) or New Orleans (29-29) in the first round. Fasten your seatbelts, Spurs fans, and enjoy the ride.

Gotta be honest with you and say I didn't play with Yao very much. I shot a couple of times with him, he only had six points if I remember correctly. Okafor played better

Googled a little and saw that if Melo was traded to the East in real life, he would play for them from the bench and the West would name a replacement. The game showed me the rosters before the trade, it didn't change anything. Perhaps that could go to the 2k12 wishlist.MrHeraklinos wrote:Hope this happens in real life

Thanks man! Counting on you to return with your No-Kobe Lakers.
The Coffees are a mini-update right now -- no All-Star votes and for a strange reason, the rumor mill is empty and all the injuries were deleted. Players who had season-long injuries (Foster, Bargnani, Chandler) are back.

Nice All-Star Game coverage, good to see my man D-Rose doing his thing and shitting on everyone
Melo with 7 steals is a bit unrealistic though....especially since it's the All-Star game where no defense is played
Tue Feb 08, 2011 6:20 am
Steals do not = defense. It = risk taking. Sounds like Melo
Tue Feb 08, 2011 6:57 am
Thierry, you are definitely going to finish this. I can't wait to see the playoffs happen. I'm very jealous at how this looks, you do such a great job. Not only is your presentation so great, but your writing style is awesome. Some people have a lot of eye candy, but poor writing. Then there are people with great writing, but don't have the capabilities of the amazing pictures and graphics. This might be the best all around association out there. I'm in love with this man. I hope you do multiple season because it would be interesting to see what you do with the aging Spurs. I can't even upload replays off my Ps3, it takes like 15 minutes just for one replay.

I missed something, Melo Billups and Williams in Nets? Nice deal.

Second half of the season on the way; Westbrook hits game-winner as Thunder top Spurs
Preview | Recap | Game Info | Full Play-by-Play | Boxscores (OKC :: SAS)SAN ANTONIO, February 23 -- The Oklahoma City Thunder felt fortunate to get the victory. Kevin Durant had 31 points and Russell Westbrook made a go-ahead jumper with 3.3 seconds left to rally the Thunder past the San Antonio Spurs, 106-104. San Antonio's Tony Parker was told not to switch off Westbrook and cover Durant during a timeout before the decisive play, with the score tied at 104. But Parker did, allowing Westbrook to make a wide-open jumper to give Oklahoma City the lead. Manu Ginobili missed a potential game-tying shot at the buzzer. Westbrook finished the game with 25 points, 14 assists and three steals, but seven turnovers. “I call Russell the 16-foot assassin,” Durant said. “The coach gave me the ball to create in the last play. If we got the shot, we didn't want to leave a lot of time on the clock. We found a perfect shot with 3 seconds left, it was too good to pass on it. Then we were great on defense to make them miss the last shot.” Durantula added five rebounds, four assists and two blocks for the Thunder; in the winning play, he was double-teamed and passed the ball to James Harden, who saw Westbrook without a defender on his tail. “I found Russell wide open. He made like a receiver and it was a great play,” Harden said. “The Spurs could have easily won.”
Tim Duncan had 27 points, 10 boards and five blocks for the Spurs, with zero turnovers. A turnover by DeJuan Blair set up the Thunder's last play. After the Thunder inbounded the ball, Parker converged on Durant, allowing Westbrook to stand uncovered to receive Harden's pass. San Antonio led by as many as 12 in the first half, and were always leading during the first two frames, with Oklahoma City taking a 5-point advantage with just over three minutes left in the third period -- the Thunder were never behind again. Parker called it a tough loss. “We needed this game. To come up short was disappointing,” Parker said. “The lesson? We can play with anybody. We took an up-and-coming squad like the Thunder down to the wire, but we only needed that last shot.” Westbrook scored seven straight points to start the fourth quarter and post a 12-point lead for his team. Parker shot 1-of-8 for 6 points, attempting just one shot in the last quarter compared to four for his backup George Hill. The Spurs led by three at halftime and lost the event, despite shooting 48 percent from the field and 88 percent from the charity stripe.
With Westbrook orchestrating everything for the Thunder offensive plan, and a true MVP candidate like Durant making three consecutive 3-pointers in the third quarter, the Thunder rallied and posted a 80-75 lead entering the fourth. Blair had eight points and seven rebounds, while Ginobili added 16 points, four rebounds, three assists and four steals, but a team-high five turnovers. “This one it's tough to swallow,” Ginobili said. “We let it slip out of our hands. We now have two games at home to bounce back as soon as possible (New Jersey and Memphis).” Drew Gooden, acquired from Milwaukee on the trade deadline, had 12 points and seven rebounds making a new debut with the Spurs. “It's nice to come back to this team,” Gooden said. “But it was a bad return with a loss like this one.” Harden had 14 points, two assists and five steals for the Thunder, while Corey Maggette scored 14 points with six rebounds for San Antonio. “That's why Russell is one of the best point guards in the league,” Maggette said. “He gives his team confidence. He has a huge future.” The Spurs won the battle in the paint, 54-38, and their bench defeated Oklahoma City's, 33-16; but the Thunder shot 44 percent from 3-point territory -- 11-of-25.- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Yeah Rose was everywhere. The steals were all over the place, just look at the turnovers.Sit wrote:Steals do not = defense. It = risk taking. Sounds like Melo
Yes it does. But I won't play with him anymore, he's now on the East.Agent420 wrote:Thierry, you are definitely going to finish this. I can't wait to see the playoffs happen. Wow man, thanks a lot. Finishing for me would be at least two seasons, four tops, so I think three seasons would be ideal. The truth is I have a lot of free time right now, still on the search of a job, so I might switch the style or layout a little later, but at this moment it's full throttle until the offseason. I'm still behind Sit in the writing part...

Yep made the deal in the trade deadline. Next game is against the Nets, so I can't wait to see how Melo plays.

Russellll. Your bench outscored Thunder.

27/10/5 by Timmy D and you lost? Wow, really surprising, I though that your inside presence would beat the Thunder single handedly. At least Gooden played well.

Amazing All-star weekend recap , shame you lost , surprised Durant didn't took the game winner.

Hey man I tried the Melo trade before the trade and he still plays for the West despite being a Knicks player. Hope 2k notice this bug.

Duncan must have dipped into a time chambers because that was 03 Duncan caliber numbers.
