NLSC name change. to NBA2kSC

I have officially taking over the NLSC. This is my International State of the NLSC Address.
Now, the first thing on my agenda is NBA-live. The live series was a fail. It's old, it sucks and it was horrible. I feel that the NLSC needs to move on. As the New president of the NLSC, the first thing on my agenda is to change the name from the NLSC to NBA2kSC.

Okay maybe shooting for the presidency is going a tad bit far, but as a outstanding member. Who has deminstrated the best citizenship, the courage, the honor of king and the wisdom of a prophet I say it's time to move on. Take EAsports out of the equation and let's make it all about 2k.

If youre still playing any version of live or elite. You should grab a hammer, turn it around to the heavy part and hit your self upside the head a few times until you see blood or blackout. The live series is dead. I'm not kidding we need to move on from the NLSC and change the name to NBA2kSC.

What have EA sports contributed to the world of Sim Basketball? Excatly, but our site is gonna keep on giving them praise. Hell no, it's time to revolt against this regime. The people, the flees unite. Live is dead, the only reason youre here is because of NBA2k11.
However, the powers that be are handcuffed to the Live Series. They are stuck on stupidity and brainwashed by their Over Lord Tim Lutz and the EAsports propaganda. If the NLSC don't change from it's evil NBA Live Ways revolt people. The revolution will not be televised. Revolt I say............I am free from Live and Elite, in my opinion and the opinion of everyone I know Elite was a waste of download space. All I can say is thank you EA for not releasing that crap. Please dont release whatever game your making for the PC. We don't want that garbage. Well some of yall do.

This is my vote to change the name of this site from anything that has something to do with Live or Elite. Change the name to NBA2kSC immediately. Make us happy and shame the devil.......

Live 10 wasn't half bad. It sucks that it didnt make it to the PC, but it wasn't terrible.

I feel that the NLSC needs to move on.

This site hasn't been fully dedicated to EA for 3 years now and even then we were more properly classified as a "PC Basketball game site" rather than an "EA Basketball Site".

Take EAsports out of the equation and let's make it all about 2k.

The better bet is to mainly cover PC games which the majority of us play and since that isn't a leading platform, cover console games as well (including NBA Jam which was also quite good).

The live series is dead.

It's as dead as you want to make it, but the RYFF and TUP teams seem to be quite happy with their old relics of yesteryear.

I'm not kidding we need to move on from the NLSC and change the name to NBA2kSC.

Changing the name was discussed immediately after EA announced there will be no NBA Live 09 PC and again after NBA 2K9 was announced for PC. If it was going to happen, it would have happened already. We have our reasonings which have nothing to do with Mr. Lutz (whom I've never talked with before) nor the enormous payroll and original content we get directly from Peter Moore. (i.e. ziltch)

Jon's pretty much summed it up. As time goes by, we'll probably simply go by our initials much the same way ESPN has done since the mid 80s. As far as content is concerned, we've already made the transition to cater to basketball gaming in a more general sense, which does include EA's games. Everyone is free to pick and choose which content they check out and ignore the rest if they like.
