Very cool.

Nice to see someone else posting videos using broadcast camera angles, as you know.. all of mine are from that angle. Certainly adds to the presentation aspect.

Thanks Dee :)
About camera, in my (so old) Live days, i was playing with a "2K Cam" like, from upper behind.
But when i went on 2K (11), i kept the broadcast cam, less precise but it's feels like NBA on TV. Same for you ?

I've always preferred broadcast camera angles when I'm controlling all five players, both in NBA Live and NBA 2K. I only use baseline-oriented angles (like 2K Cam) in player-locked modes (i.e. MyCAREER and 2K Pro-Am).

I've always used broadcast cam, and for me it's always felt more precise. That's probably because I am so used to it.

I like that on broadcast I can tell how close I am to the basket/out of bounds at any moment, or how close I am as a defender guarding the offensive player (You can see space better), I like that I can work the baseline better as well on broadcast cam.

Honestly, I had trouble motivating myself to upload it because he missed the last shot.

But, someone requested the video with that roster. So I wanted to honor the request. I try to upload as many community requests I can, I think it keeps people engaged. Plus, I love showing off the classics.

On that note, because I didn't move onto 2K18, my subscriber count really stalled. I had a solid 800 subscribers over a 3 month period, and over 200k views. But when 2K18 came out and I decided to not move forward with videos for the game, people kind of stopped subscribing. I havn't lost many, but I havn't gained a lot. I'm up to 903, I've gained about 25 subscribers over the last three weeks or so.

I'm glad I stuck with my true feeling about 2K18, and didn't just upload videos to get views and subscribers. However, it is a little sad to see the channel get less attention lately. One thing I will say, I am thankful for the people who have stayed dedicated to my channel and my content, the people who appreciate the work I put into the videos, the presentation aspect of them, and the variety of content (Different NBA games). You actually were one of my biggest supporters during 2K17, even sharing my videos on Reddit.

Ill keep posting videos, hoping 2K19 is a home run so I can go nuts with not only creating content for the game, but also releasing a plethora of videos for people to enjoy.

Not many people make 1080P videos at 60 FPS of the older games. I'm glad I have the software/means to do so. The smooth frame rates really show the capabilities of these older games, shines a solid light on them, the light that they deserve.

I agree, and believe me it's even better at 4k or 8K :P
for the same reason, that's also why i upload videos, very few in classic NBA 2K in 4K.

I actually have 4K@30Fps with my graphics card, but I hate the dip in performance. I have an RX 480, so it can handle it. II just don't think it looks much better. My two brothers didn't even notice a difference between 4k and 1080P. My 4K TV is pretty nice, but again I just really don't see the difference.

With that being said, I totally get that people are into 4K, pretty soon 8K will be the norm. Technology changes fast.

I changed my GPU months ago, 1070ti (just before mining prices) ; i can play all theses old NBA2K at 4K/60FPS or 8K/60FPS (and current gen at 4k/60 FPS)
i only have a FHD screen then the result is downsampled, so the result is even better.

What are you using to upload the videos though? Because the videos are clearly not coming out at 60 fps.

Is it because you are using Fraps or something?

I do 1080p, 60 fps, at 30mbps/sec when recording.

This is the first gameplay video I've made. Integrated in the game are few of the recent mods made for this game. Forgive the potato quality, I'm still learning how to properly upload let's-plays.

Quality looks fine.

So fun to watch the gameplay on 2K11, holds up so well today. They did so many things right, and better, than some of the current generation versions of 2K/Live.

Thanks for sharing!

You're very welcome! Thank you for the feedback too.

Here's a full-length game I posted recently with me controlling the Jazz against the Rockets.
