A kind of no shit moment, but yea, it was all not gameplay. They did use the game assets though....but hopefully those were Live 13 models and not what they are using for 14.

Better to be.

WE only expect from those we belive can achieve, and EA Sports DEFINTLY CAN! :D

Depending on how polished the gameplay is at this stage of development, it might have been a better move to show that as it might have been more impressive and certainly gives a better idea of what the game will be like than a CGI pre-rendering. That said, it was probably too early to expect that, so I guess we wait and see. E3, perhaps?

One would imagine it couldn't go much worse.

As i can see, you too, that have been here for a while, agree loudly on one thing: EA gotta move foward with playability and player body looking.

I mean graphics isn't their weakness, but the playability is killing them, that's where they are far miles away from 2K's game. You can talk about "n" options inside the game, but i think EA slept at the BUS stop...

Eletronic Arts have been the major company in sports games for years, see the Madden for example... Spetacular images, marvelous shots...
Fifa maybe is loved by some, but as a brazilian (the same as americans with basketball and football - Not even argue the Rockey and Baseball that are played majorily world around, more then the two first), i understand a little bit of soccer to say... PES 6 was the best game ever...

And the fundamentals of a game relies on their playability more then anything else.

I still positive and hoping that EA comes to the turning point again! Always love them! :D

I'm guessing it looked bad because it used Live14 assets. #NBALive14Skeptic

I agree with you, even though FIFA is the flashy and popular game with its licences and graphics, PES is still the better sim game, can't wait to see their newest game with the Fox Engine.

About Live, if they weren't ready to deliver a good CGI trailer, why even bother showing one? It wouldn't make them be worse if they avoided showing their part in the trailer. I wish they show something at E3 but I doubt it, I believe I've read somewhere that they weren't showing anything.

The point is, they really shouldn't be going with CGI at all if they want to show off the game.
