GameTrailers conducted an
interview with Peter Moore following EA Sports' presentation at E3 2011, in which he briefly touched upon the next NBA sim which will of course be released in 2012. Moore doesn't go into much detail but reaffirms their commitment to rebooting the franchise and continuing to produce NBA games, as well as answering a question about physics and collisions in the next game. Skip ahead to the 5:30 and 7:45 marks in the video to hear his comments, credit goes to our own
JaoSming for the find.

Then a tip of the virtual hat to you too, good sir.
We've been talking about physics in the Wishlist thread and this seem promising, but once again I hope it's got a bit more polish this time around and if it's not quite ready, they work on it behind the scenes and debut it when it is actually good to go.

We do have an NBA 2K12 section to discuss the game.

Since you brought it up though, it's highly unlikely to say the least that those are the only controls that will be available in NBA 2K12. That was just showing off the Move controls during Sony's presentation, I'm confident that the more traditional control opens will be there. In any case, once again please keep the NBA 2K12 discussion in the NBA 2K12 section. Thanks.
