NBA Elite 11 Coming This Month — For iPhone 4

A news release issued yesterday said NBA Elite 11 will feature unlockable legends such as Darryl Dawkins and Magic Johnson, and a three-point shootout mode that is new to this year's game. (NBA Live 10 was published for the iPhone and iPod touch last year.)

ESPN's well regarded booth trio of Mike Breen, Mark Jackson and Jeff Van Gundy, who were due to appear in the console NBA Elite 11, instead make their debut in this game.

Wow. Even the iphone got something that the PC never got. Normal mapped jerseys. Dynamic crowd at a Blazers-Sixers game?

This whole Elite thing is just laughable.

Would you expect a mobile version to be much better than this though?

Good point, but then a Jam-style of game lends itself to pretty much any platform.
