EA Sports inviting feedback via email

Fri Sep 03, 2010 1:53 am

In addition to our usual means of contacting EA Sports, it appears as though they've setup another means of soliciting community feedback via some new email addresses. More info in this post on the Inside EA Sports blog.

We do ask that you keep the emails on point and provide as much detail as possible. Below you will find a detailed list of what we are looking for in the emails if you are reporting an issue or concern:

- Detailed description of the issue
- The exact reproduction steps on how you created the issue.
- Date and time issue occurred
- Gamertag
- Game Mode
- Opponent gamertag(s)
- Screenshot or video(use a digital camera or camera phone)
- Any other pertinent information

When titling the email, please use the following format:

Franchise, Game Mode, Issue/Concern
Example: Madden NFL- Online- Connection Issue

This will ensure that all feedback is received right away and allows for an outlet for members of the community to express concerns without fear of someone else abusing the information that they want to pass along to the development team.

It'll be interesting to see how that works out.

What will they do about the issue?

If it's a technical support issue, I'd say they'll respond with troubleshooting information. If it's a game issue, bugs and the like, I'm guessing that feedback would be compiled for the creation of patches. If there are issues with another user online, maybe they'll be able to investigate the matter and ban people as necessary.
