Here are a few NBA Elite 11 vs NBA Live 10 Face Comparisons I've put together using some of the screenshots that were released last week along with real photographs as a reference. NBA Live 10 faces are on the left, NBA Elite 11 faces are on the right and I'm sure you can tell which are the real photographs. I've tried to match up all three as best I can, I realise the KG/Pau one isn't quite the same and it probably won't shock you to hear that most of the photos of KG running back on defense show him screaming or with some sort of hyped-up expression on his face. Of the ones I found, I felt those were the best matches.
“All truth passes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed. Second, it is violently opposed. Third, it is accepted as being self-evident.” Arthur Schopenhauer- German philosopher (1788 - 1860)
Lighting on the players isn't as good as Live 10 (too dark in Elite) but Elite's faces is an upgrade or at least equal that of Live. I'm waiting for that horrible Dirk Nowitzki cf in Elite to be compared.
Of those, I feel Durant is the most improved but on the whole I'd say KG and Gasol are better as well, though Gasol still isn't quite right. The plastic/oily effect is definitely gone.
The game actually looked a little brighter when I was playing it at the event. The player also have more of videogame look this year too, not as photorealistic.
Not that it looks terrible but the players faces look more like 3D sculptures rather then a digitized version if that makes any sense...
In elite 11 KD looks darker and the real pic he doesn't look that dark but still all of them improved on it and its not easy making a game i give this a thumbs up for all of them but gasol's face in elite looks a off like a small bit
I definitely agree in regards to Gasol. It's not quite right, but having gone back and forth a bit I'd have to say it's a bit better in Elite 11 from the screens we've received so far.
Yeah, he is a bit too subdued. As I said, it was hard to find a suitable photo that was similar to the pose in the screenshots and showed him with more of a neutral expression.
