When will the demo be available?

sill unknown but my money is on September 7th

September 7th seems like a good bet.

So long as there's still a quarter or two of regular gameplay, hopefully allowing four or five minute quarters or perhaps just a full first quarter of gameplay, I'm all for getting a little extra something in the demo in the form of a preview of a new mode.

This is great, can't wait to get the demo.

Gold (paid) subscribers have received the demo before Silver (unpaid) subscribers in the past but that's Microsoft's doing, not EA's (and certainly not the Dev Team's).

Any news about demo release?

Probably the 14th. . . 2k11's demo is coming out that day. EA would be dumb not to release it the same day as 2k

No official word on it as yet though.

demo is coming september 21st optimus p76 on youtube already said it was changed from the 14th to the 21st

The NBA Elite 11 demo was never announced as coming out on the 14th. That's when the NBA 2K11 demo is coming out.

So Demo comes out this Thursday or really next 30th (last day on September) ... or maybe even after full game lol

the demo is going to come out on a Tuesday. It used to be Thursdays because that is when the PS3 would do its weekly updates but for the past 6 months or so they've been updating on Tuesdays.

According to Yaw (via Twitter), the holdup is with Microsoft or Sony.

It's not that we don't know the date we have to get clearance from first party before we go announce the demo date

You wouldn't want a date to be announced and find out that they have to move it, people will get upset about that

Having had to postpone roster updates in the past, I can absolutely understand why they're not posting a date. Online communities aren't always very understanding when unforeseen delays occur, so it's another damned if you do, damned if you don't situation.
