I am personally a fan of both games and do own both of 'em. It's pretty obvious that 2k has better faces than live.

C'mon look at the photo comparison of Jennings from live 10 and elite 11 above! Jennings from the left side still looks like live 08 to me and Jennings on the right side is already the same as 2k10's (or even 2k9's). Again, this is not a biased comment since I love both games.

I thought some of NBA Live 10's faces were better than their NBA 2K10 equivalents (lighting not withstanding) but in the case of Jennings I would say there's been a huge improvement in NBA Elite 11.

a really huge improvement. I think im not seeing there the odd looking shoulder of a player. Last year I was diappointed to see nba live 10 still has that. Anyway, I hope the animations, movements and controls are better this year together with the graphics. If that happens, they'll snatch back the crown.

The game modes will have to deliver along with the gameplay, too. NBA 2K11's use of Michael Jordan's likeness with The Jordan Challenge and MJ: Creating a Legend will probably be a strong selling point along with Association mode being deeper and in generally in better shape. Don't get me wrong, it's crucial that the gameplay experience delivers and it certainly helps if the game looks nice, but the longevity is in the quality of the modes.

2k has the best emotion in a basketball game to date, just sometimes when paused it looks funky (see my avatar?)

Live's just look like photos plastered on, which isnt always the best

So this isn't emotion?

 Really? You dare go on here and just diss me for just posting those pics? You're certainly entitled to your opinion, but not once did I say that Live's faces are great. Those pics are to show that Live players show emotion, not to show the quality.

Yeah, seriously. If you're going to troll like that, please refrain from posting in the NBA Elite/Live sections, else be barred from them.

2K does have some really ugly faces. Aaron Gray's face looks like a jigsaw puzzle and Demarre Carroll looks like a Predator without the mask (2K10).

IDK why that guy wanted to troll then, if both games don't have the faces correct.

Just the way fandom goes online. Sometimes it's more about bashing the competition than showing esteem for what you do like.

haha im not trying to be a troll, just look at zach's mouth and tell me you don't see a werewolf. live does have some better faces than 2K but as a whole, i think when 2K has a good face it's alot closer to spot-on than lives.

I don't see a werewolf. And yes, this is a trolling remark:

seriously though, live faces suck. the game sucks, and the people who think the faces are better in live suck worst of all.

You weren't trying to troll, but you went on in saying that me AND Live suck IN THE ELITE 11 SECTION. Really, players in real life actually open their mouths like that when they are feeling it, and to be honest, I don't see a werewolf in that picture. Next time you criticize Live or anything/anybody at that, make sure it's constructive and not say that it "sucks".
