True. With one slight difference in my view on this - I'm already willing to give Live a chance. If they release it on PC, that is.
I only enjoyed 2K12 for the first few games, after that all the flaws jumped out at me and I couldn't bring myself to have any fun with this game anymore, no matter how hard I tried. It was just too damn frustrating. It's nice that they give us tons of interesting features, but so what if all the fundamentals and most of the features themselves are glitched? Some of the flaws are so obvious and so stupid that it really makes me think they don't bother testing those games at all. And why should they when there are lots of people defending them, saying things like "every game has glitches, just enjoy what you have, hater" - only not every game has that many glitches and not in such important aspects of the game - and more importantly, people buy the game no matter what. With the PC version, there's also lack of support, half a year of waiting for the patch, updates containing PS3 files and online that could as well not be there at all because it never works. With that kind of approach, that's it for me. Not buying 2K13 unless Live isn't out for the PC and I don't hear about a ton of glitches again in 2K13 (the latter being rather unlikely, considering how 2K12, 2K10 and even pre-patch 2K11 was like).
What does Live have to do? Fresh, solid gameplay with a decent amount of features, animations not looking robotic, decently deep Dynasty and Become Legendary and don't glitch everyting that's possible to glitch. And, as someone already mentioned, they'll be light years ahead of 2K with their online simply by making it work.
