I was pretty much planning on taking a break from b-ball games this year anyways (unless 2K comes up with something BIG), so I can wait for (hopefully) a quality product from EA next year. Would like to see them go back to Live, but NBA on ESPN sounds pretty good.

Good question. I guess we shouldn't count on it since nothing was announced, it was a move to appease players in the wake of cancelling NBA Elite 11 whereas this time they've announced their plans well ahead of any official announcement about an NBA Elite 12. It wouldn't be a bad move on their part to continue the updates for one more year but then if the season is lost to a lockout there obviously wouldn't be any point.

it doesn't specify any console, but 360/PS3 are safe bets, PC is a long shot

That said, we'll be keeping the PC Petition going to try and demonstrate our enthusiasm for basketball gaming on the PC platform so for anyone who'd like to join the cause, signatures are still most welcome.

I like NBA on ESPN but maybe go with NBA on ESPN2012. I hope that this game has the features I've been wanting on my wishlist. I want to see it have about the same features at least as the 2K series. I have suggested many times though that they should add a draft list in the dynasty mode.
