Even so, it's still surprising that EA execs and one who is involved with EA's cash cow for some significant time (10 yrs?) are leaving the best game company ever.

They have been shifted from doing Football and NASCAR only to also doing Tiger Woods, MMA and now NBA. Their direction and resource allocation has clearly changed so it's not unfathomable that people would bolt EA when they have no say anymore. Wang did after all.
