Indeed. There are other threads where you can express those thoughts, if you've nothing constructive to say on this subject please keep it out of this thread. Thanks.

Instead of the Pro Hop. . .Please Change it into a 2tep Gather animation, kinda like the "Skate" Button in NHL. If your not gonna add a Turbo button, I think this would be something logical to do

*bring back off ball movements on players like the one on nba live10.

*pass buttons sucks.

*graphics needs improvements.

*bring back turbo button

*off ball screen options...like the one on live 10...remember ray allen moves?

*did i just say it needs more improvements on controls??

How about you hold the Left Trigger(L2 on PS) for your two step gather animation, eh?

yeah i like that idea. you should be able to configure the controller like how you use to be able to in older video games in general.

Isn't that the Euro Step? I don't want to do a Euro step to dunk

The graphics are awful in this game {make them more like 2ks graphics}
Add players actual shots like 2ks
Add peoples shot from free throw line{ there all the same}
take glitches out
Court needs polish
add turbo so we can get passed players {kobe cant get passed nobody thats not right}
Slow the game down

Overall i like elite its just these problems which are making the game bad

No. LT/L2 is all gathers. It's only a euro step if you press to the left or right of the direction you are going.

Look it's Very Simple EA, Live 10 Was by far the best basketball game I ever played, I even got alot of my 2k friends to convert to live , but come on son, with what I've seen with playing demo of Elite; a game relaese delay is the best idea you guys ever came up with, all you guys have to do is improve little things from live 10
1. improve the graphics
2. remove that 2 player animation that one gets stuck in
3. better player control, meaning going out of bounce getting the ball stolen when under the rim with a good ball handler like nash or chris paul
4. give the option for new elite control and old live control for live 10 change nothing with the old live control give us the consumer a choice to choose
5. fix the stamina so the consumer have to use ther bench, I hate palying a guy that have the same line up through out the whole game
6. add real injuries so the player can leave, I don't want to see them just shake it off
7. put in clear path fouls on fast break dunks so on a breakaway dunk someone don't just intentional foul me, it should be two foul shots and the ball back
8. fix the baseline free three point shot so when im on defense I can still control my player to defend the three
9. fix the fake 3 point shooting where people like mo williams daniel gibson micheal finley and others will shoot 20 to 30 three pointers and make them even when u contest the shot
10.fix the bumps and in air collisions alot of times there fouls and I dnt get the calls
11. fix the offensive fouls when some one dn't have position and just get the offensive foul
theres maybe one or three more that i cant think of but overall its a great game

Read my post here.

I have spent around 20+ hours playing the demo over and over, all modes included, and I have to say, while it's not perfect by any means, it is really, really good. For me, what makes a good basketball game, is the on court action. If everything else is good around it, then great. I think Elite has the makings to be a great game in 2010/11 and most definitely long term. I will list some things that I like and some things I don't like. My view will be from the PS3 version of the demo.

Like:

1. The controls -- At first glance, the controls really suck and aren't workable at all. But after playing with them and getting the nuances down, I think EA is on to something, it works really well. It is a more powerful system with the potential for far greater combinations of moves than anything that is 2k*. I am able to quickly and efficiently pull of multiple combos of moves, but there is also a risk/reward system with this, you try to hot dog it too much and you'll get ripped, more on this in a bit. The pass button being moved to R2 is fantastic, now you can more easily pull off passes then you would having to find a face button. I mean, come on, what is 60% of basketball? Passing? Sheesh? :P Then having the R1 button + RS handle the free style pass is genius, keeps everything within reach and free flowing. I mean, that's what we want, right? Something I wouldn't mind, is control of my dunk type, based on jumping, leaping, dunk ability, etc. I am sure that this is something that EA could easily move into the right stick + plus a modifier, if it's not there already.

2. No Turbo -- Many users are complaining about this "flaw", it's not. I look at "turbo" as an exploit, that can easily be abused, no matter how much you tweak it. Instead, forcing players to utilize their "natural" skills, rather than some adrenaline rush of hulk. You don't need a speed burst, the game relies on the ability of the player to move and the speed, quickness, etc ratings. I feel like this move, really helped to balance the gameplay out and is forcing players to play with their brain, rather than their "turbo" button. I seriously thought that the fastbreak game was dead, but it's not, the players who are quicker than others will beat you to the other end of the floor. What does this do for player? It is one less thing for you to think about, you can focus on trying to catch that player and time a block, rather than just jump randomly hoping to accidentally nick the ball out of the players hand.

3. Defense -- What? Defense in NBA "Live"? Yes, it's there, and it's very good. No need for a lousy faceup button, it's nice, because it's all about timing now, then just holding some faceup button and hoping it keeps you in front of your man. This time around, you have to work for your stops, and unllike years past, you can get them if you work for them. This is a rewarding and exciting experience to the game.

4. Shot Control -- Talk about bliss, or near to it. It's not perfect yet, but it is getting there and quickly I might add. The amount of control and precision that you can have, is simply staggering. To be able to control the shots based on my skill, rather than a lousy computation that if executed correctly, would actually work for me. This means that if I am working really hard for an open shot, and I actually line it up and keep my "form", it's going to go in the hoop and not bounce around. This is all based on my aim. This is the ultimate reward, I love to play half-court basketball in an "bball" sim, because it is so hard to stop when it is executed properly. It stops any fastbreaker aka "fastfaker" and allows you to dictate and control the game, exactly how it should be.

5. Realtime Physics -- Although it is buggy still, it is much better than anything recently in a "Live" game. I do like the ability to "alter" someone's shot and force them to miss, and if I am over aggressive, will foul the player. It is a nice risk/reward system. This is the way it should be. I was really impressed for instance, I had poked the ball away from Kobe and it was flying out of bounds, I rushed towards the ball with Pierce and he quickly dived and grabbed the ball and flicked it with his left wrist to Rondo, who was able to take off to the other end of the court and feed Allen for a three in the corner. What was cool, Bynum was there by Pierce and right after pierce threw the ball back, he hit Bynum and it changed his trajectory and he hit the boards. This was cool! A simple touch that made a HUGE difference. I know it needs a lot of work still, but it'll come. For what is in reality, a first time attempt, it's good.

6. Legends Mode -- This is great, and great fun too. I really like this and think this will be a big selling point. Kudos on this.

Dis-Likes:

1. Player Graphics -- While passable, players do resemble their real life counterparts, but not that well. On a scale of 1-10, Elite gets a 7 in my book. The only reason it gets a 7, is because of the arenas, environments and court, they look stunning; however, the players really drag down the rating because of there look and feel. Odd thing is, the coaches looked really good. Phil Jackson looks like Phil, better than any bball game that I have seen to date. Got me on that one.

2. Animations -- The animations are passable and will get the job done, but there is little variation between players. I can understand why, since they are basically redoing the whole underbelly of the beast. This will improve with time. It would be nice if they at least ran more organically and not as much like stick men. I do fell the players are proportioned correctly and look fine as far as stock, height, build, etc.

3. Slowness of direct pass button notifications -- First and foremost, this has no bearing on being able to direct pass, it still works and works great, it just comes up slow when you press R1. It is annoying sometimes when I hit the wrong button and throw the ball away, just because I forgot the button assigned to a position. Again, it works great, I use it to fling the ball often and quickly.

4. Floor Spacing -- I think this is a big issue, while players moved without the ball and ran plays when called, they never really setup and spaced the floor properly beforehand. Usually, they will huddle up closely at the free throw line. Credit where credit is due, big men seem to make the most of hitting their spots and posting when they should. Guards tend to mosey around a bit more and clog the lanes more. If you call plays all the time by yourself, this probably won't affect you that much. Having the cut button "Triangle", is very helpful to get some movement.

5. Off Ball Movement -- I have no problem with off the ball movement, works great. The problem is, it takes an eternity to actually switch to the player I want to control off ball. They get this fixed and it's gonna be bangin'! I love to be able to feed the post player and run a slant with a guard to the whole to drag the D in and a quick hit pass to the corner pocket for a three ball, rewarding.

6. Free Throws -- I appreciate the way Elite handles free throws, but is so stinking easy. I understand that we are in "control", but make it challenging in a good way. I really enjoyed the way Live 06 did it on the XBOX 360, the pull back and push forward on the stick was amazing and truly the first time I saw a control that you actually had to be good at. This was it. I would love to see this scheme implemented again, as part of the Shot Control package. Not saying the current system is bad, it's not, just not challenging or realistic.

7. Framerate Issues -- The game seems to get choppy when inbounding the ball quite often, this is rather annoying. It probably has to do with the underlying changes with the realtime physics taking extra calculations. It's an annoyance and I didn't see this slowdown at any other portion of the game.

In the middle:

1. Passing -- While I have not problem with controls now, it works great, seems passing can be a bit sluggish sometimes. It would also be nice to have to option to hard/soft pass, by length of time the pass button is pressed. Everything seems to work well, just a little sluggish at times.

2. Presentation -- While the commentators seem to do a good job of interpreting the game as it's happening, the rest is rather bland and void of what a "real" broadcast is made of. The camera angles are fine, I prefer the pressbox view, much better than the awful Baseline cam.

3. Practice mode -- It should be more free flowing like the previous "Live" games, go to a coach and practice, not be forced to sit and listen when I could be practicing while the announcer is giving directions.

These are my impressions from the demo, I think Elite is going to be a solid foundation and start to this new franchise and I am looking forward to playing Elite 11. While it's not perfect, and has many flaws at this moment, it will be a good game. Kudos to EA for pulling out and trying to fix issues with the game. I applaud them on this, something they have never done in the past. That was something that made me go to the 2k side for awhile after Live 07. I have high hopes for this game, while not astronomical expectations, they are realistic. Just give me a game with good controls (check), balanced gameplay on both ends of the floor (check), and make it fun (check), then in my book, you'll have a keeper.

Let me know what you think or agree/disagree with. Thanks.

1-Player movements and all animations need to look like real life.

2-Marry signature dribble moves with 1:1 controls so players can look like they do IRL under the user control.

3-I think Live 10 had signature jumpshots based on momentum, please bring that back.

4-Add limb contact to the RTP engine.

5-Make teams play like they do IRL.

6-Graphics need to look like live 06 with better player models.

for xbox 360 users.
1. bring turbo back.
2. A is the pass button
3. X is the shoot button
4. B is the pick an roll, go with the pick and roll again that was a great tool they used.
5. Take away the chargers and illegal screens
6. add ingame injuries
7. a better dynasty mode, something that wont let me ever drop the controller.
8. have subsitutions run to the middle of the court for them to be subsitutued like real life
9. leave the dribble controls like the way they are in live 10. PERFECT.
10. keep adidas live run
11. let us edit fiba teams
12. let us use our own rosters in online leagues.
13. let us do an xbox live match right out of play now mode, something like MLB 2k10 does but not ranked.
14. online tournaments.
15. make the broadcast camera the main playmode camera
16. 28 game seasons in dynasty mode
17. more realistic stats in dynasty mode.
18. have alley-oops actually work.
19. fix online gameplay make it never lag.
20. intigrate fiba play in dynasty mode.
21. put ncaa teams in the game, now that ncaa basketball is gone.
22. add more brightness to the game, elite 11 was too dark.
23. edit the man sliders so you make more shots. in live 10 you missed A LOT of shots. make it so you make more shots, people like to score, and put up points, not to sit there see their team miss shots.
24. dont make the game too hard, elite 11 was too hard. make the game so its easy, and for it to be harder just make the levels harder where the computer is better. dont make the game hard on us where its too hard to play because of controls. make the computer better for it to be harder. make it an easy controls to play.
25. get rid of the joy-stick theme!

those are my 25 reasons to make it better, mainly fix dynasty mode, and gameplay controls. BACK TO BASICS!

Im not sure if you will actually read this EA, but i REALLY hope you do. And im glad the game has been delayed because the demo was OK, but wasnt as good as I thought it was going to be.

1. Graphics could improve:
(players look good close up, but during gameplay it looks like a downgrade from NBA Live 10. (N) Also the jerseys and shorts could improve. ex-2k jerseys look very good. they look more fluid & real and they move with the players. The atmosphere in the game is great, is it possible to make the fans look more real like the 2k fans are-they EA fans look like they are from a ps2 game. And could the fans wear actual player jerseys according to the arena they are at, not just a jersey with no number, ex-@ Celtics games have the fans wear Pierce, Rondo, Shaq etc jerseys. At Lakers games have the fans wear Gasol, Artest, Kobe jerseys. etc,etc-for every team.) And some of the courts are brighter & lighter than others, so can the lighting in each arena be as it is in real life? The Celtics court in particular-IF YOU CAN, actually put TD Garden on the baseline instead of Boston Celtics- idk if there is legal rights to that, but if so and you guys cant put TD Garden in the game, could you at least put Boston Celtics in place of TD Garden under the hoop as it is in real life, with the yellow/white lettering.
Accessories were great in NBA Live 10, But Dwight Howard isnt the ONLY player in the NBA that wears the Adidas sleeve (Josh Smith, Wilson Chandler, etc wear the same sleeve). if you guys could put that as a 'anybody can wear it' accessory, that would be cool, and i like the signature shoes on the players.

2. Gameplay is good. I like the new direction EA is going: (Y)
(I like the new Hands On Control system. It took some time to get used to, but after i got the hang of it, it was cool, and i enjoy playing with no more CANimations during gameplay.)
I would also like to see more signature plays in game. ex-2k11 has different signature plays for every team, and I think it would be great for it also to be in Elite. ex-Celtics-Ray running off base line screens to get an open three, KG posting up, and Pierce pick and roll. I think you get it, many different plays to make the game feel authentic and REAL like an actual NBA game.
It would also be more REALISTIC if every player didnt have the same dribble moves. I think different players should have different dribbling styles (ex-Derrick Rose has a quick, bouncy-like crossover & so does LeBron. Paul Pierce has a slower, yet effective crossover.)
I think there should be different types of dribble styles for players, like i said-to make the game more AUTHENTIC & REALISTIC.
Another thing about player differentiation, i like how many players have sig jumpers, but some of them look kind of awkward. Like Ray Allen's, it doesnt look like Ray Allen's real life jumper. And Kobe Bryant's jumper, it looked better on NBA Live 09. If you guys could edit some of the jumpers so they could mimic the players REAL LIFE JUMPERS, that would be great.
Another thing about jump shots-It would be cool for players to have Go-To moves like in NBA Live 10, ex- Dwyane Wade's Step back, and Manu's floater. I think they should be put in NBA Elite in some way-you know, for more player differentiation. Also, more (and edited) signature free throws, and more signature dunks. ex-Rajon Rondo, J.R. Smith, Josh Smith, Derrick Rose, etc.. & KEVIN DURANT (since he is the cover athlete)
Stealing the basketball from opponents is WAY too easy. Maybe you guys could make it a little less likely to steal the ball every time the offense bring the ball up court.
Player A.I. should be more advanced too. I was playing the demo and i was using the Lakers, and Rajon Rondo passed the ball to Ray Allen (wide open at the three point line) and he passed the ball to KG in the post. WHEN DOES RAY DO THAT?! So if you guys could make the A.I. act like a REAL PERSON, better yet,act like the REAL PLAYERS, this would be way more realistic.
Add MINOR & SEVERE IN GAME INJURIES-in NBA Live 10, players got hurt, shook it off, and kept playing. it would be more realistic if players got hurt and teammates helped him to the bench or to the locker room. but also keep the minor injuries in the game, because every injury isnt a severe one.

3. Animations look awkward-kind of stiff (N)
(The rebounding is what looks the most stiff to me. If you guys could create more rebounding animations (NO BALL WARPING OR 2 PLAYER CANIMATIONS) that would also make the game look more fluid and smooth. The passing looks kind of weird too. Like i said about the rebounding, if you guys could add different types of passing animations it would be great. And if we could decide whether we want to do a bounce pass or a chest pass-since we have 'total control',it would be a good addition (but im not really stressing this-but it would be cool. I like how we can dive out of bounds for the lose ball, that looks cool. The block shot animations also look quite stiff. I would like to see different types of blocks (and if you could, make some players look like their real life counterparts. ex-Dwight Howard jumps pretty high when he swats shots, KG sort of stretches his arm out with his blocking hand spread open, so it would be cool if some of the big guys actually look like there selves when they attempt to block a shot.
Alley Oops look OK. They could be better. PLEASE no more Live 10 SLOW MO alley oops, but make them look more realistic, and add many different types of dunks players can do when they catch it off the alley. And if you guys can-allow the player to pass an alley oop from out of bounds. (Like how Paul Pierce tossed an alley to Rondo for a game tying lay in at the buzzer vs Miami.)
When players dunk and hang on the rim, their hands went THROUGH the rim instead of ON the rim (most notably in replays) . Hopefully you guys can fix this minor issue.
The Real Time Physics needs some tuning, but i like this addition in place of the annoying two player animations.

4. Game Modes
PLEASE PUT THE FULL ALL STAR WEEKEND BACK IN THE GAME! Not just the All Star Game, but the Dunk Contest, 3 Point Shootout, and other events they have at All Star Weekend. (H.O.R.S.E., Point Guard Skills, Dunk-In)
I really like the new Become Legendary Mode. It is kind of like the MY Player Mode in NBA 2k. I like this new addition in the game. (Y)
I want to see the new 'changes' in the Dynasty mode. Dynasty mode in Live 09 and 10 wasnt too bad though, but i'd like to see some change.
Keep Playoffs mode.
I hope that Practice mode that was in the demo is in the full game. the 1 on 1 as well.
Keep the Fantasy Teams mode. this was pretty cool & fun to make up my own temporary superstar team.

5. Crowd/Atmosphere/Presentation (continued)
Keep the 'MVP!' chants. this was very cool and realistic in NBA Live 10. When a player throws up an airball, the crowd should start yelling 'AirBall!' and add some music (like the music they play at the Staples Center when a player shoots an airball).
If the home team is getting blown out, the fans should begin to leave the game. this would be cool and it happens all the time at real NBA games when the home team is getting blown out.
I like how the fans are swinging the towels in Finals atmosphere. You guys should add more fan props (ex.- big foam fingers, posters with players faces, posters with team names or player names, etc.
Like i said above in the Graphics part, it would be cool if the fans were actually wearing jerseys with numbers on them. Not just random numbers though, like star player numbers. ex.-in Chicago, fans wear bulls t shirts or Rose jersey, Noah jersey, Boozer jersey. And in Orlando fans have Howard and Nelson and Carter jerseys on. this would make the atmosphere look more life like.
and make the fans like more human, not so 'pixel-like'. the fans in the 2k games look good, so i dont see any reason why EA cant make fans look good too.
And like you guys did last year, with VC and Toronto, it would be cool if this year you guys could make the Cleveland fans BOO when LeBron gets the ball. that would be funny.
keep the classic 'BEAT LA' chants. and add 'KOBE SUCKS' when he is at the free throw line in Boston (the fans were yelling that this year in the finals.)
'The Finals' logo on court looks great-it looks just like real life. and 'Playoffs' logo too. im not sure if you guys have done this or not, but you should add 'Eastern Conference Finals' & 'Western Conference Finals' on court logos. just to add to the life like presentation.
I Really like the ESPN scoreboard, and the new commentary is GREAT (Y)
Gotta love Mike Breen- "____ FOR 3..BANG!" and "____ PUTS IT IN!" and '____ KNOCKS IT DOWN!" and "____ BANKS IT IN!" ok, ok, you get it. but it is something fresh, something new. its great
and Jackson- "Mamma, there goes that man!"

Well thats all i can think of. I really do hope that Elite will live up to the hype, and this delay better be worth it! :D

do not touch the engine it's fine
keep elite 11 controls
just add more skin texture to players
add more animations to the 1s you already have
game storylines like live 10
add more livelyness to the players during the pre-game
add a weekly analysis show to dynasty mode that reflects on all the games played in the last week
more signature jumpshot styles
add press confrences to become legendary
also add rating boosting drills to dynasty and become legendary
please diffrentiate the good scorers from the bad 1s because bad scorers take to many shots
fine tune stealing
add more options to the crossover system
fix the fatigue not like 2ks but make it so almost every bench players get at least a few minutes
add some highlight reel dunks and alley oops
make the commentary dynamic to adjust to the time of the season, playoffs, finals, etc
add all star weekend back
injuries where players are out and actually leave the court
add a new difficulty ELITE the most smartest a.i.
add more post move options such as a running sky hook
please make the pass button LT and turbo RT
add a shot seperation option to the size up mode where you can take a defender off a angle
make the pick system more realistic where the screener actually sets the screen

I think they need to create a better dynasty mode just like madden's dynasty. they need to go more in depth from like the areanas to even the firing of coaches .. and picking assistants and even like scouting oversea players. stuff like that i love i can play all day with a dynasty like that. making it more realistic and make it were you can control mulitple teams so if u have buddies they can play within your dynasty. Game play is cool yall should jus stick to
the buttons from nba live 10 and leave it at that and they should have more tip in dunks and tip ins as well.injuries is a big part of sports and i think they
need more of that players catchin sprain ankles and stuff like that even have guys argue with the coaches to the point where u can choose weather to keep
goin at them or chill to the point where u can get techs. they need to be more in depth thats the problem with nba live series yall are not more in depth yall
have the basic tools but we want yall to go DEEPER into it thats why 2k is winning cuz they go deeper into the realism of the game its not really about gameplay
its the other stuff that makes it great .... but the MAIN complaint man for me is yall need to bring back throwback teams ... i remember yall had decade teams which was cool but if yall bring back old school teams like the old laker teams to like the champion bull teams piston teams celtcs even old school orlando magic and knick teams .. or pacers teams ... that will be definitely great. please man i hope this isnt the end for nba on easports man ive been riding the wave since laker vs celtics .... please dont let 2k take over the bball game tghey already took baseball from me (triple play/mvp was the shit) jus step ya game up get back into the lingo and keep it moving ...

The players don’t move like actual humans. When going up for a rebound it looks like they have a jet pack on. Bring the turbo button back, that killed me. Is there someway every player head can react to the ball when in the air, because I notice if I shoot a 3, have the other team is day dreaming at the other end of court. My overall thing is you see how 2k players move smooth during gameplay…just copy off of them or something. Make better Halftime like 2k…make statements about other games like 2k…and bring back all star weekend on franchise..make new locker room footage before and after game or something…Please come through for us…

And some of the courts are brighter & lighter than others, so can the lighting in each arena be as it is in real life? The Celtics court in particular-IF YOU CAN, actually put TD Garden on the baseline instead of Boston Celtics- idk if there is legal rights to that, but if so and you guys cant put TD Garden in the game, could you at least put Boston Celtics in place of TD Garden under the hoop as it is in real life, with the yellow/white lettering. And put 'Red Auerbach' on the court as it is in real life.

I like the new direction EA is going:

3. Animations look awkward-kind of stiff

I Really like the ESPN scoreboard, and the new commentary is GREAT
Gotta love Mike Breen- "____ FOR 3..BANG!" and "____ PUTS IT IN!" and '____ KNOCKS IT DOWN!" and "____ BANKS IT IN!" ok, ok, you get it. but it is something fresh, something new. its great
and Jackson- "Mamma, there goes that man!"

Well thats all i can think of. I really do hope that Elite will live up to the hype, and this delay better be worth it!
[/quote]

Pre-game:
Add more pre game rituals (ex-KG banging his head on the goal post while tying up his shorts, the 'Kobe/Vujacic' thing-its in 2k, players getting a piece of gum (Ray Allen, Kobe Bryant, etc), D.Wade Pull Ups, etc.etc..
I like the new spinning logo and the lights all around the court before the game starts. (Y)
You guys should add players coming off the team bus, or show them in the locker room before they get onto the court.
Show the entire court and give every one a short glimpse of the teams shooting around in pre game.
SHOW BREEN, JACKSON, & VAN GUNDY TALKING TO US BEFORE THE GAME-this would be cool, kind of like we are watching an actual game on ESPN.
Add Storylines to the game (like Live 10) more in depth though. ex-Sometimes in Live 10, it just showed the teams star players, not the actual head to head matchup. It should be Position vs Position, ex-Paul Pierce vs Ron Artest (SF), or Mike Bibby vs Steve Nash (PG), or Kevin Durant vs LeBron James (SF), or Amar'e Stoudemire vs Kevin Garnett (PF).etc. etc..
Show the Starting 5 kind of like how 2k11 does it (names on the bottom, with players bodies on top)-but dont make one player stand out in color and make the rest black and white. i think that was dumb in the 2k11 demo. it made it seem like only one guy matters.
or better yet, do it how ESPN does it on TV.

Post-game:
Show a player from the winning team being interviewed before he leaves the court.
Have Post-game press conferences-at least in Become Legendary Mode or Dynasty Mode. (i heard this was going to be in 2k11, so it HAS to be in ELITE too!)
When a team wins the championship in Dynasty Mode or Playoffs mode, show the team pour the Gatorade onto the head coach and have the celebrating and getting the Larry O'Brien Trophy. I think this was already in Live 09 and 10, but keep it in the game, because i didnt see it in the demo.

Dynasty Mode:
I heard that EA made some changes to this mode, but i havent heard what exactly changed. Until i hear anything about this, i wont make any suggestions or comments.

In-game:
Show bench players go up to the scorers table before they get put into the game. And show them taking off their warm ups.
And when a player goes to the bench, show them putting their warm ups on, and getting a drink.
I like how the bench gets excited when something goes good in the game, but sometimes they celebrate when the other team makes a basket (????? WTF)
So if you guys could change that, it would be cool. and also, if you could make their heads turn to where the basketball is, instead of them looking straight all the time, that would be more realistic.
In cut scenes, make players on court get hype too, not only the bench. ex-if a player gets an And 1, they should get hype and hi 5 his teammates (if its a close game, late in the game)
Like have KG do his signature chest pound, or Kobe do that weird thing with his teeth-that would be super realistic.
And have the players that chew gum during games, ACTUALLY CHEWING GUM IN GAME. I saw this in Live 09. bring it back. its cool.

Accessories: this is useful when creating a Become Legendary player, or just Create-a-Player
Keep it up-they are very accurate. (Y)
But add more.
ex.-Adidas Sleeve that Dwight Howard wears.
-Finger tape, for ANY FINGER, not just middle finger.
-Different Headband styles (backwards-Melo-, logo upside down-Rondo-,logo over right or left eye, inside out-Mo Williams and Mike Bibby, logo in middle-Lebron) And could you guys place the headbands where the players actually wear them. ex-Pierce wears his high on his hair line, LeBron too. Rondo wears his low over his brow)etc.etc..
-Add updated shoes-you guys probably already have done this. (Y) ex-Rondos Green Nikes, and im pretty sure LeBron will have some new ones to match his new Heat uniform.
-Knee high socks (ex. Eddie House & James Posey) the ones in Live 10 werent KNEE high.
-Add more tattoos we can put on our created players
-Add under shirts (like the ones Dwight Howard, Kobe Bryant, Rajon Rondo,Derrick Rose wears)
-This is kind of off topic, but could you guys put Paul Pierces' tattoo on him?!? he has a tattoo on his left forearm (where he wears the arm band)
-Add more hair styles we can put on our created players. SOME of the hair from the previous games were terrible.
-Add Half-sleeves (like the one Kobe Bryant wears sometimes)
-Add padded arm and calf sleeves (like Dwyane Wade, Rajon Rondo, Kevin Durant) but keep the non-padded Sleeve (Ray Allen, Kobe Bryant)

Player Models:
-Update Tattoos (JR. Smith, LeBron James, Carmelo Anthony, etc.etc..)
-Update hair throughout season (ex-if Allen Iverson cuts off his braids again, change his hair in the game, or if a player grows a beard-Derek Fisher, Chauncey Billups-put it on them in the game)
-Keep updating accessories. (Y)
-Fix players skin tone. dont make them too shiny like in Live 10, but some players are too dark (ex-Rajon Rondo isnt as dark as KG. and Ray Allen was too dark also.)---THIS WAS IN THE DEMO.
-Make players sweat as the game goes on, then when they go to the bench show them wiping it off. when they get back in the game they will look like they did when the game started (DRY, not shiny)
-I like how most (if not all) players faces are changed. (Y) just make the skin tone right
-I really like the new create a player face type. they looked like aliens in Live 09 & 10. (Y)
-Make every player look as much Life-Like as possible
-In the Elite demo, some of the bigger guys didnt really look bigger. (ex-Shaq, Bynum) so could you guys make us see the weight difference between players.
-And could the player-to-court ratio be fixed?? make them the size they look on TV. on the demo, the players in the demo looked long and slim. i know you guys can fix this.

I WOULD GREATLY APPRECIATE IT IF YOU READ THIS, EA. I REALLY WANT NBA ELITE TO FEEL LIKE SOMETHING NEW & FRESH. I HOPE THIS DELAY IS WORTH THE WAIT :)

The one thing to get player really pumped up is when you dunk on someone you have the option to commit a tech foul, so after you dunk on the guy and his on the ground you press for example triangle to go to him to give him a finger wave or start screaming at the guy, BUT important the offender gets a tech foul, im pretty sure people arent going to foul out a good player to lose the game on purpose

The NBA won't allow unsportsmanlike technicals to be in the game; only technicality violations.

Damn!, wow andrew you really do your research, or cant the player do something to pump the crowd. Also in the hustle plays if the play is at full speed he plunges into the crowd

EA themselves told us that many years ago, which is why we don't include technicals or fights in the wishlist (just not happening because of the NBA's stance on the matter). 2K's also confirmed it.

Change the rim sound effects. Imo Nba live 2005 rim sounds were more realistic. Its been the same for years now.

As sad as it sounds...my wish would be to offer the game for a low price in the PSN or XBox live. A lot of money, creativity and time in the competion against 2ksports has been lost. Reduce marketing and producing investment for Elite 2011. This year's battle is lost. Start (it's already on it's way, isn't it?) to develop a new game that's more based on Live 2010. Maybe update 2010 to nowadays and release the 2010 game with 2011 players and few mode patches. Copy 2KSports (or NBA Live 2004!) and make historic teams available...
all in all NBA Elite 11 is a step in the wrong direction. Playstation move controller offers new ideas for a revolution in controlling . But it's unsure, if consumers will like big changes...

+ bronco_4_ever's idea is amazing. Interactive crowds would be a funny thing for NBA LIVE 2012 (go back to the traditional name!!!!!!!!!!!). And what some are asking for, obvious differences between (especially the franchise-)players, in moves, dunks, dribblings, etc. I'VE NEVER PLAYED A GAME THAT REALLY MADE ME FEEL TO CONTROL LEBRON or DWYANE or KOBE, because they only differ in textures, size and dunks NOT in moving, shooting, celebrating, speaking (''ref it's a foul'' or ''in your face", etc. would be very nice WITH ORIGINAL VOICES of at least one star per team plus coaches). AIM TO CREATE A BETTER ATMOSPHERE. The first step in that direction is the basic presentation, the improved commentators during the game and the crowds started by 2KSports, but THE PLAYER SHOULD BE AND FEEL MORE INSIDE THE GAME. May be an ADDITIONAL FIRST PERSON MODE with an ADDITIONAL 'BLUETOOTH HEADBAND CONTROLLER' that, when head turned round transfers these moves in the game for a quicker overview than with common sticks. Something like VR of the 1990s, but without a big helmet and expensive videotechnology. This headband shouldn't cost more than 40$/ 40€. By the way, this feauture could also be working with the standard PS3 controller: it's not called 6 axis for fun (even if it's as seldom supported!!!)... relatively easy ways to revolutionize the game....

Good luck EA! I continue playing the great version of 2003 , named NBA Live 2004  ;-)
