Unreleased games do have a way of getting out there, family members and friends of friends who work in warehouses and all that.

Hey guys, I am the winner of the game, and plan on having it later today. Will be giving full access/info to the game throughout the entire NBA Season.

sorry Q, but I am really interested in how the game actually turned out and especially in comparison to Live 07....which should have been cancelled.
bigball12, when you get it start a new topic so we can ask questions about the game. (BTW, I brought that auction up to retail price, once it went past $70 I just said F it, lol)

I'd definity wait until March for it to come out if they did these things
1) Add Multiplayer dynasty mode
2) Save during the offseason
3) Save in the middle of game and come back to it later (NBA 2k10 did this)
4) alot more up to date rosters without having to go online since I can't get but dialup where i live right now
this is not necessary but I'd like to also see
5) Draft List- from 2011 to the final season you get to see who drafted what and where. Also the trade too are mentioned.

...and began the death of EA's basketball game franchise on PC.

I meant Live 07 on the 360. 1,000x worse than Live 07 PC (post patch)

Agreed, but I think releases like that are one of the reasons why they delayed it. They don't want to make the same or a similar mistake again.
It would have been pretty fun for a little while, with the control and response making online matchups a lot more fun. It probably wouldn't have had enough depth to make me want to play a dynasty mode 3 months in to the NBA season or something.
There would have been so many glitch/bug/funny looking youtube videos of the full version, guaranteed.
I really thought the whole point of including JAM was because we all knew we were going to get a first-generation version of a new game and we all knew it wouldn't compete with 2K11, but provide an alternative style of bball game to play. I wonder if there is any information on what happened at the Elite 11 release party if there was one.

They should release it on PC!!!!
Mon Oct 11, 2010 9:37 am
No argument here.
Fri Oct 15, 2010 8:46 am
Its removal, you mean?
Fri Oct 15, 2010 9:08 am
i was wondering if they would allow that. it was Buy it Now for $800
Fri Oct 15, 2010 9:13 am
You'd have to be a keen collector with money to burn.

Now with the delay there is no excuse for this game not to be awesome almost as good as 2K11 or even better. The one feature that is not on 2k11 that would be cool here would be what I call a draft list. In your dynasty from 2011 to however long you've played you will see a draft list of what team drafted what player. Also included would be trades that happened on draft night. I hope the commentary will be amazing and they actually say all the players last names and not just certain ones.

There are plenty of excuses, but we don't want excuses. We want a finished, polished product.
Fri Oct 22, 2010 7:58 am
I agree a finished product. This game should be amazing and no excuse for not to have these three things in the game
1) multiplayer dynasty
2) In game saves
3) Saving during the offseason
plus amazing gameplay

Remember 10 years ago when NBA 2k made its debut on the Dreamcast? It went up against NBA Live2000 and lost to its rival even though it had way better graphics. It was gameplay and balance that defeated the 2k series way back then. Ever since that time, the 2k franchise has learned its lesson and has continued to make subtle improvements each year and sadly, the NBA franchise Live/Elite was always a step or 2 behind. They did some good things with live 10 last year so I guess this years product is way substandard. In a way, it is us basketball fans who lose when games like these get delayed or cancelled. Face it, a true nba videogame basketball fan will not be satisfied with just one game in the market each year. The more the merrier I always say. I hope they dont cancel nba elite 2011. Ill still line up in February for this game just the same way ill be playing 2k11 on my pc.

Competition and alternatives are a good thing. Aside from fanboys who want to see one or the other defeated and dead, I think most people would like to see at least two quality NBA video games on the market.
