I think i 'll give it a shot if its 20$

Well, to me, graphics look much better than 2k's and those player faces look much better than what we have seen from 2k13 videos.. Other than that we cannot see much from this trailer. 2k13's trailer looked much better gameplay-wise, but for 20 dollars (or whatever it's going to cost here in Europe) I will surely gonna give it a shot

Not much to take out of this trailer really. Mostly one-player animations, and I'm not really impressed. No mention of platforms either, so the DLC vs Retail debate will go on.
At least it's ...something.
Let's wait and see what else comes out as far as info goes.

Jerseys look terrible.
Players look like they leak of oil instead of sweat.

THIS, is a video to take with a grain of salt.....
....wait, did I just say that?
Some of the footage is from this video from E3
And the net/player sweat/fog effects makes it look CG, something EA's done before for "in-game" footage -
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iu7Q8PgWQkwIF, those are the graphics though,

And even though I would still drop $60 on this, at $20 Jao, Want.

Some rumors r that game don't come out Oct. 2

Guys this is the same trailer they had running at E3 months ago so this STILL isn't the finished product yet. I remember the same things playing in the background during an interview that hiphopgamer from youtube was doing. It can only get better here if they still have a month to work on it. One thing I do like is the faces are very spot on compared to 2k. At least we can have that this year lol.

You can see the footage above in my post that was copy pasted, but I'm pretty sure EA didn't have the proper insider information to have Dwight and Nash on the Lakers or Lin on the Rockets in advance to show it at E3. Someone probably would have leaked those details.

That's why the game doesn't look any better than the E3 build, they had all been locked up in a vault until the Dwight trade finally happened.

I didn't even catch that I was just looking at the carmelo clip and the player movements and it looked tha same to me but your probly right Jao. With the game not coming out on Oct.2 though that still may give them some time.

Who I Be - Crap
Someday maybe they'll take out the hip hop and put in some real music.

Lmao A Pierce's face, seems accurate

Awesome faces, looking really awesome but i can't say that about jerseys and bodies...

but at least they show something...

Skin and faces look way better than 2ks.but models look ugly
Fri Sep 14, 2012 9:41 am
The presentation is amazing, but gameplay looks cheap. It's disappointing after seeing some 2k videos.
Fri Sep 14, 2012 9:41 am
it looked like kobe was having a heart attack?
anybody heard of "skinny" jerseys? =)
textures looked ok, at least something diff from 2k's.

The thing that bothers me is that gameplay is one of their focus points this year and they showed none of it. It was pretty much all close ups of one player animations.
Anyway, it's great to finally see something.
Fri Sep 14, 2012 10:54 am
It's tough to tell much since it didn't feature gameplay, but the animations looked worlds different than the leaked video from a few weeks ago.
The faces looked pretty impressive, but there's something about the shoulders/upper body that EAC and now Tiburon just can't get right in the player models. It seems like larger shoulders don't look muscular, but like inflated mounds of fat.
The movement of fingers and hands on shots was not in the leaked video and is a minor aspect that improves the visuals. Though, it seems the rim does not move on some/most dunks, reducing the visual feel of weight on slam dunks. While it didn't move on early dunks in the video, it definitely did on the slam by Rudy Gay later on but not in the final big slam (IIRC by LeBron).
I'm assuming the arenas shown at the start are some of the accurate ones within the game (Orlando, Miami, OKC, LAL, CHI). That will be an underrated aspect that fans of each team (or hardcore NBA fans) will really appreciate.
We don't have much to go on, but visually overall I thought the game looked pretty sharp in this teaser video.

The official EASPORTS youtube video on it has more dislikes than views.
Fri Sep 14, 2012 11:38 am
its the "300" view glitch, if a video gets over 300 views in the first day or so, it just stays put there for a while then gets updated sporadically.

Jon, I think you should put your #NBALive13Optimist on your custom title to spread the love.
Faces for NBA Live has always been better than 2K's but I can't say the same about the player models they used. Also no 'team play' clip, just one-second animations per player.

It amazes me how little progress EA have made over the past 7 years. I wonder if the working environment there is negative?
