The EA SPORTS NBA LIVE Team is looking for YOU to come work with us on NBA LIVE 13!!! Here's what you have to do:

1) Send an email to EASPORTSNBA_ADCOUNCIL@ea.com.

2) In 100 words or less, tell us why you should be selected as part of the inaugural Advisory Council. We are looking for passionate, dedicated fans to provide insight and feedback.

3) Winners will be selected by the NBA LIVE Development Team.

I would encourage everyone to apply.

If you can't to go yourself, you could always lobby for another member to go. Personally, I think JaoSming would be a great choice to get to go. He's been to several focus groups and testing for other games and is an avid NBA Live fan and is truly dedicated.

Judging by the first announcement, which I can't find, it said they were bringing in players from around the country, which means only US residents can apply.

Of course Andrew should go. There should be invitees along with contest winners. The US only thing is why I recommended Jon. I'm not entirely sure if it is accurate, just going off what I read before the announcement.

I was hoping for some for info actually, maybe some sort of teaser or so... Not that I expected it, but would have been cool to see what they've been up to.

What bothers me again is the silhouette... Did they put half a 23 there on purpose? Which player worthy of being the cover athlete is wearing #23?
Is it just a random guy after all? Or could it be LeBron wearing his high school jersey? You know, "Future of Basketball"?

As others have said, anyone keen to provide feedback should apply. We know what we want out of the game and this shows that the Development Team are interested in what we have to say. It may be a disappointment to those wanting concrete info on the game itself, but I say this is good news.

I'll be applying regardless, we'll see how it goes. Nothing to lose.

Yeah I just sent mine in and put what Andrew said in the subject line.

in the rules, it also states that you need to send it to "NBALIVEADCOUNCIL@EA.COM" but in the image AND on the picture description is says to send it to "EASPORTSNBA_ADCOUNCIL@ea.com" so I sent it to the latter

nah, on facebook it makes no mention of a user or screen name so i ignored that. i added my email address at the end of my email in case they didn't look at who sent it to them. I didnt put my DOB because i figure that's the last thing they need

if you click on the image on the facebook page, it opens up an email to the address with the underscore in it, so I think that one's pretty safe despite it not being in the official rules. it's quite possible the rules were drawn up first and they decided to change the email aferwards and forgot to update the rules

I've made some inquiries and been told to submit the application anyway, being part of the community leader program (they did fly me in for community events in 2006-08). Worst case scenario, it won't be feasible to fly me over and I can perhaps either send someone in my stead or get involved some other way. We'll see, it doesn't cost me anything to try.
