It's unfortunate for other platforms - especially PC - but their reasoning is understandable.

If EA Sports wasn't anti-PC, I'd suggest they might deliver a port in 2015. But as is, I have to assume only 2K will. (No, I don't expect a 2K15 next gen port.)

But the next two years might be a change in all situations. Two years ago if I had said EA should scrap things for next gen instead of trying a Live 13 you'd have all called me crazy.

or how I stole the idea and took credit for the prediction

I'm not mad. I was also hoping for a PC version, but that'd be selfish, I'd be satisfied with a physical copy of the game.

With the new consoles having similar architecture to PCs, it's my hope that we'll see next gen ports at some point in the future. As a community, all we can do is continue to be vocal in our desire for a release on the PC platform, though we do need to keep in mind that we are unfortunately fighting an uphill battle there.

I would be much more optimistic about NBA Live 16 or 17 for the PC.

Perhaps, though I'd certainly welcome a return with NBA Live 15.

As would I. I just think that their game plan is to deliver a product that they're satisfied with and is well received on the new consoles before assigning resources to port the game over to PC. I also think that might take at least 2 iterations before it's even a possibility. Who knows, I could be wrong, I hope I am and we get Live 15 for the PC. That would be grand.

True. I guess we'll just have to wait and see, while continuing to express our desire for one. In the meantime, I would assume that getting a good product out there and winning back the fanbase while establishing a solid foundation on the new generation of consoles is the number one priority, and understandably so. Besides, if we are to get a PC port, better it be of a good game.
