Where there's LIVE, there's always the word 'cancel'. I love it.

Why love that...... And I think you meant to relate Elite with cancel, or ea basketball, but there is no reason to group live in with that

Well 'elite' was supposed to be the next 'live', right? I'm not into live since 06 as since that year it hasn't changed much except for PS3 version.
That's another reason I'm not thrilled with live, no pc version.
However, I won't lie, I would like to see EA's final product.

Elite was intended to be a continuation/re-branding of the NBA Live series, yes.

So it was canceled after all.

True. What remains to be seen is the future of the series. And I guess we're a long way from finding out more about that, unless they botch the whole project and cancel Live altogether, which seems pretty unlikely given those job listings.

Good, because I have been adamantly wanting to give you my money for the past three years, and it would seem silly to buy 4 copies of the next one.

The next Live probably will be one of the first games for the next gen consoles. In that case the it will help bridge the gap between them and 2K since 2K also have to build from scratch for the new consoles.

They didn't during the last generation change. Ever wonder why "Dreamcast Code" was an issue? 2K6 on the 360 really was essentially a graphics update of the Xbox/PS2 version.

Good to know. Always, let us know if there's anything useful we can provide as far as feedback and the like is concerned. There are certainly folks around these parts who are willing and able to provide in-depth, constructive feedback for future games.
