Is the animation/player movement in Live 10 good? Cause everytime I watch a gameplay of it (thru Jaosming). It looks weird and slow.

I'll readily admit that I'm not the harshest critic when it comes to graphics, but I think those screens look pretty good for the most part. I'd agree on the assessment of the jerseys but the lighting looks better than NBA Live 10, the faces are pretty spot on and the player models seem fine. I don't think either game has completely nailed it as 2K's bodies still look a bit bulky to me, but for my money both games are doing fairly well in the graphics department.
Some of the snark I sometimes see comparing the graphics in both games to the last generation (or sometimes even the SNES) is just silly, childish hyperbole. That's not to say you can't criticise either game's graphics but we should all do so in a constructive and thoughtful manner. It's funny because I've seen the graphics in both series deemed to be "cartoonish", which had led to me really disdaining the term. It just feels like a lazy buzzword to cover dissatisfaction with any imperfections in the graphics.
Anyway, like I said I think both games are doing pretty well in the graphics department, though neither of them are perfect. Liking those screens for the most part.

Can't really judge as I won't be able to play it.
But ya, faces look better than 2K. Jerseys & bodies not so much. For example, check out the Bosh & Boozer screen, they both have almost the same body. While, Bosh should be thinner & Boozer should be healthy comparatively. We would have really been able to rate the bodies, if they had given a Dwight Howard screen

Don't really like the ESPN broadcast that much except Doris Burke...would take TNT(2K) over it anytime.
Also, the game is still under construction, but they should have released the proper faces & accessorized players promotional screens imo. For example, LBJ gave up that look almost 2 months ago. And I don't think he has used the NBA logo on his headband lately....not even on this season. Little details like that matter. And wtf is up with Tyson Chandler, Hamilton & Amare screens?

Give us some All Stars screens.
P.S.: not meaning JaoSming, EA.

@coreysa said the game is behind closed doors at E3. These product features & screenshots are not even on the ea sports nba live website so it must be still early.

http://www.easports.com/nba-live doesn't have these screenshots or product features on their site so that's why I don't think this is accurate.

Nice to finally see some good Live news. The graphics look good besides the jerseys, but honestly as long as the graphics are decent it's not that important to me. I'm really thinking about going back to Live if it has solid gameplay because I've never been a big fan of 2k's gameplay and controls.

Straight from the horse's mouth, I wouldn't get too hung up from websites not being updated. Took forever for 2K12 to even have a website.

Owen Good has also confirmed them:

Look like JVG in the Gasol pic.

Players Faces looks excellent
The body models looks a little bigger

, but boozer and bosh got that plastic look. I agree that 2k body models are a little too bulky.
The only jersey that looks weird is the bulls jersey from the back.
The graphics are good enough, imo, I just hope the gameplay have signature moves of star players and looks realistic, instead of having the usual herky jerky animations in dribbling and body contact in the paint.
I've been a live fan from 2004 - 2008, then i went to 2k in 09. I want to switch back to Live so bad.

yeah i think they have ESPN coverage.. I like the voice of Mike Breen

I don't see Mike Breen next to him though, so it could just be a generic bald white guy. That would be pretty cool if they're actually on the sideline of course but it's hard to tell for sure from that screenshot.
Here's a good read on the first screenshots:
NBA Live 13's Screenshot's Don't Look Great... And Here's Why it Doesn't MatterI still don't think the screens look terrible but I definitely agree with the gist of the article.

i dont like the jerseys but the rest i sperfect

The graphics look good overall but not great. I like a lot the faces but will those change by expressions while playing, they look stiff with no emotions while the players are during the game, for example in Amare and Tyson. The bodies don't look that good to me but I prefer them over 2K's, Davis looks like a bodybuilder from that photo and I can't see a difference between Bosh and Boozer. The jerseys look worse to me than previous years, those are too tight and like painted, there don't seem like there are texture or different textures in it (though LeBron's jersey looks better that the other images). The arena, crowd, lightning and ball look fantastic.
