There were a few controls that needed to be changed. The responsiveness was almost too good, as people ended up doing too much. Forcing the player to crossover when they moved in the direction opposite of their ball hand ended up in a steal because people had to use both sticks just to switch. I remember years ago when we asked for a contextual crossover when switching directions. Its only natural to protect the ball from the defender.
While most of the controls were salvageable, the animations and how they translated to the game play were the biggest problem, imo. They advertised control, but didn't give us a button to run faster. In retrospect, they move that pass button and replace it with turbo, game is released, gets a nice patch around the holidays, and we are anticipating the improvements for elite 12.
