I'm sadly on the fence

I've seen the videos....I've read the articles, so far not really impressed. Been playing Live since its inception, going back to Jordan VS Bird. I'm not going to complain, I'm being optimistic about the Elite demo. But I have to say 2K is winning hands down. Not in 17 years have I thought about 2k.....Times are changing......Gameplay is priority #1, buts its the little extra things, that make the game worth it, you kow?....commentary, game modes, atmosphere, excitment, etc.

Anyway, can anyone answer this...have the signature shots been removed? I know signature dribbles are gone (mistake). After watching the videos, all shots look the same. Durant's shot was a little different, but very little.

Also, CAPs...haven't heard anything about them. Any news at all would be good

Lastly, atmosphere? Will there still be Season, Playoff or Finals? If so, will it affectt player/crowd reactions? Intensity level?

Anyway, with the additions and improvements to 2k, I'm sad to say I'm on the fence this year.

You stuck with Live 07 over 2k7? that is when most people "defected" to 2k


anyway sig shots are still in, just a few, if any, added

CAPs have been improved because of Become Legendary, no word yet if the 50 CAP limit is still there (probably)

I'd be surprised if the atmosphere settings are removed


Nothing says you can't play Live 10 for a 2nd year....that's what I did with Live 09 nvm the PC versions being updated.

Dynasty Mode has also reportedly received an upgrade this year. As far as seeing whether you like what the game has to offer, the demo will be out in the not too distant future. Try before you buy, I'm getting the game regardless so I'll be answering questions about it, taking an in-depth look at Dynasty and the other game modes etc. And if you do decide to go with 2K, well, we've got a 2K section.
