I think the NLSC even put that in the WIshlist sometime ago.

Yeah, 2K also uses some animations from the previous game, but I think they tweak it a little bit to look 'different' . I don't know if that's the case with Live...uhm...Elite.

Yeah we have been doing that the last few years, including things in the Wishlist we want to see kept.

you get tired of the same thing over the years........especilly when the animations they are using aren't that great to begin with. Don't get me wrong.......they were nice for those years, but they really look awkward for this years games. hat spin and 1 leg take off from kobe is physically not possible. I can imagine him being able to dunk on smaller guys like that without being bumped.

They can keep the good animations, but they have to make adjustments to realism. That is my main point.........anyone who plays bball, knows that thatmove and collision are not realistic.

They need to change the codes for when a guy goes in for dunks and when he doesn't. ánd then they need a whole set of animations for those situations........instead they keep goign back tot he limited ammount of lay ups and dunks they have and making additional animations for collisions that don't really look realistic.

It may seem efficient, but it takes away from the end product.

offcourse Andrew if you liked live 06 that much and you are still playing it, this would seem great, but in your mid, you gotta think NEXT GEN.........that is what i am thinking.

I like the old games too, but i am able to make a difference in my mind that it's next gen i m playing and not the playstation 2.

A lot of people can't make the difference up in their minds so they keep saying it's great and looks good, cause it looks like 1 step up from live 06, while it should be way better than that.

Some collisions are weird. Especially the clip #5, with Kobe and Lebron. Not realistic or logical.

Drive faster. Some folks just aren't up to speed in that regard.

Edit: Whoops, didnt see a page two. Time to wallow in self pity in the general talk section again, bye.

I do get where you're coming from but it's not as though there aren't any new moves in the game. I would agree that there are animations that should probably be phased out and hopefully that will be the case, but so long as the game plays well I'm OK with some of the same animations (or similar ones) being in there for now. There are things that bother me more than a couple of old animations which I'd rather see addressed first, once they're cleaned up then maybe that can be one of the next things they look at. That's the approach I'd prefer at any rate.
