Speculation of Tuesdays Announcement?

Apparently there are some issues with the international licensing for NCAA basketball, which is why college basketball games have only been released in the US and Canada. Since NBA Elite's a worldwide release, they'd have to clear that legal obstacle first.

Aha! That's why I can't find NCAA Basketball 10 anywhere here in Sweden. Was thinking about importing it, but I can't play NTSC games on my PAL 360

We're in the same boat here in Australia. Of course, such restrictions are not an issue for the PS3 or PC.

And indeed it is, it would make importing it (and patching it) feasible. Same of course goes for the PC version of Live/Elite these days. Now that FIFA is getting a next gen port to the PC, I wonder if there's still hope for Elite down the road.

I don't think a pc port of elite will show up until they can compete with 2K in sales on the current consoles. I wouldn't mind an onlive version, though. For a has a bigger global market for the pc version. I have also heard that it does not play the same as the console versions, but I haven't looked into that in detail.

Agreed, the sales figures are definitely against us here. Just a bit of wishful thinking on my part there.

What I really want it to be is an EUROLEAGUE Licence (all euroleague teams) or at least the addition of more national teams witch current rosters ( it's possible because of upcoming World Championships)

That question has been posed at previous community events and the bottom line is that the Euroleague license isn't cost effective. I believe one of the devs mentioned over on OS that they will be updating the FIBA teams this year though.
