I say they will unveil the game at beta stage.

I might be half-glass full right now, but I don't see this as a "they must be having tons of problems, red flag" like the people over at OS. I see it more as "man, they must be changing a lot of the core stuff and adding a lot". They have fine just fine shells for a game with the gamemodes in Live 10 and Elite 11, so since they didn't start from scratch this year, they can overhaul the gameplay and just pop that game in those gamemode shells.

It does raise some concern but I too don't want to jump the gun on doom and gloom talk. After the reception they got to the E3 demonstration, they'll surely want to have the best possible showing they can when they next pull back the curtain.

NBA 2K is light-years ahead of the NBA LIVE series. I'm just waiting on them to waive the white flag... a second time.

I agree, but it'd take a LOT for me to buy NBA LIVE. I've seen what Madden has turned into from not having competition and I'd hate to see NBA 2K games head in that same direction. Competition is important in that it keeps developers on their toes and they really have to push the product to be successful. Competition is the ultimate successor.

Absolutely, I don't think anyone could be faulted for being sceptical. NBA Live 13 needs to bring it, basically, and put their best foot forward with the news, info and previews that surely aren't too far away at this point.

I'm officially scared right now. I'm not 60-40, 60 no release 40 release. Oh no.

The lack of news is disappointing, but I'm not jumping to that conclusion just yet.

I thought there will be a play test or something this week or so?
