Here's another E3 2012 interview we missed, courtesy of Arcane:

Again, not too much in the way of stuff we don't already know, but there were a couple of tidbits I'm not sure have been mentioned all that much.

Key points:

- Treating it as a new IP
- Combination of features from previous NBA Live games and new stuff from across the EA Sports label (like ANT)
- Focus is on rebuilding the foundation
- ESPN Presentation, accurate broadcast cameras
- Responsiveness of controls
- The attention to detail on player faces this year
- Signature animations including jumpshots, leaners, fadeaways and dunks
- Live updates throughout the season
- Emotion from players, including signature emotions eg LeBron puffing out cheeks when driving
- Overhaul to the post game system, moving away from two player animations
- More to come on game modes
- Cover player announcement coming within a month to six weeks (from mid June)

I guess more of the same, it isn't like he's going to tell something different to everyone who's interviewing him. I guess we need to wait until August when news should be appearing.

Blah blah blah! I'm ready to see some gameplay footage already.

I wonder what the "unexpected, unconventional, disruptive strategy planned," is.

6 weeks, so the cover athlete gets revealed this week or next week according to Nick's timeline.

That definitely seems like a possibility, though I like JerrodSwanson22's suggestion in the other thread too. Either way, surely new info is imminent.
