Sounds good to me, if it's as good as advertised. Giving players a "brain" and implementing real strategy with AI that can recognise the situation and make adjustments accordingly is something we've wanted to see for some time and a must for any sim oriented game. I'm expecting it to have a few quirks the first time out of the gate but if the tech is solid, it should be an improvement on what we've seen in previous NBA Lives.

I wonder how deep it goes. Adjustments for a few sequential plays, the whole game or even for a whole series, which would be great for differentiating playoff play from season play.

This doesn't sound any different from DNA or even 2K's tendencies.

If you build an AI system that doesn't recognize the ratings of players you're a fucking moron.

I think it's an attempt at filling any holes in the AI that people exploit for easy baskets.

Absolutely. I still wonder if there's some Real AI tech involved.
