The mavs still have Butler. No Jason Kidd though but he seems to have been traded for young players and cap relief. Still shouldn't avg that much...
Amare is avging 32/8/2/1/2.
Many avgs 10.3. Rondo is at 10.1 now that I've sim to the end of the seaon. But now Daren Collision leads the league in assists with 11.7 and is also 20 ppg! Lebron is at 10.1 aswell! Pauls at 9.1 with 17.9 ppg, Williams is at 8.8. Nash is at 8.4.
It doesn't necessarily have something to do with Kidd but just the balance of the rotation as a whole.
If the Thunder play guys that take more shots more minutes than in the original rotation then Durant's ppg are going to drop.
Dirk vice versa. Somebody is not taking JKidd's shots, or somebody elses. That leaves more touches for Dirk, hence 30 ppg. If they trade Jkidd for a scoring pg his avg would be down instead of up.
I based all the shooting tendencies on what the avg's should be, but all the players are balanced out within the team, you can't manipulate it otherwise.
It must be the same for NY. Either scorers are traded or playing less minutes and replaced by defensive players. Injuries can factor in too. More mins for Turiaf over Randolph is more shots for Amar'e, same if Gallo or Felton are out, etc.
I improved Collison and didn't test results. It's interesting though, didn't upgrade passing but mostly made him quicker, better handles, etc. Williams and Paul surprises me.
