Inbar's Roster Thread:2000-2001 Association Mode Released!

hi i have the same problem like Henrik11. i found your roster in the inet, downloaded it and then i put all files in the nba 2k10 folder. but i only see the old team logos an players like kobe and shaq have new picture, if i play a game i have the old jersys and evrything but the players are all from the 2009/2010 saison. please help me to play association mode with your roster. it looks so fucking nice on your screnshots. hope somebody can help me and thanks to inbar for his awesome work.

I've solved the problem. You need to put the roster file into the saves folder of the game. The problem is that this folder is a hidden one. You have to open C: and then go to "documents and settings".

After that go to "tools>folder options" and there you have to mark the check box that says show all hidden files and folders (I don't know if it says this exactly 'cause i've windows in spanish)

Then you will see some new folders in your documents and settings. You have to go to your username, then application data (datos de programa in spanish) and there you'll find a 2k sports folder. Inside there's a nba2k10/saves folder. There is where you have to put the roster file, so you will be able to load from the game.

Hi everyone I'm new here!
I loved to watch NBA a few years ago. When I heard about vintage database to NBA 2K10 I tried it and it is great, but there are some small errors ;p. There is a mistake in the name of Vancouver Grizzlies (in game is "Vancouv Grizzlies") and the second one is that there are some missing files for player Vlade Divac (when I play he doesn't have head and arms are completely white). It's still fantastic database, good job inbar!

@ vasyl sorry With the databank of names I could only get it to vancouv because it has the same amount of letters as memphis

@skyline I just made them I used some of the wood from last years court like the twolves ones

No, I mean the paint and out of bounds colors. So far there's no such tool to change these colors, unless you used the files from 2k9, although they are in different format from 2k10

Well i just used different courts for out of bounds and for the paint area in some of the courts you can blend the color of the paint with one of your own. cant change it completaly but can a lil

Amazing work,big thanks,been a fan of your rosters since the 2k9 one.I'm a big fan of vintage NBA and have been playing with vintage rosters since nba live times.I don't wanna be rude or something but I've got couple questions about the courts.The New York Knicks court in your patch is the same one like in this season althought the 2000-2001 has a different paint area and smaller logo.Just like in this video:

Also Portland Trail Blazers one.You did a very good job with the logo,but how about the paint area? Is it possible to edit,here is the picture,sorry for the bad quality:



Indiana Pacers court looks good,but can you make the paint area look yellow? The off bound is blue and that's good but in the 2000-2001 paint area looked yellow.



And how about changing the sonics court paint area colors with the place? Red with the green,like in this picture

I don't know much about court editing,I saw it's hard to edit some courts,but some of them looked done really well comparing with the 2k9 one,for example Hawks in the 2k9 had a chicago bulls arena,now everything's alright with the 2k10 one.Sorry about asking,I know it's a lotta job to do to make such a rosters,but can you tell me is it possible to edit those courts which I asked? Because sometime's it's kinda not comfortable to play like with raptors in a sacramento kings arena I would like to know more about court editing.

hey inbar, the roster is amazing and everythign is good, but I am having problems getting the courts to show up in my game, i copied all of the .iff files into my NBA 2k10 folder but NONE of the courts show up. For example, when i try to play with the Seattle Supersonics, the people are there, the jersey colors are there, but i'm playing in the Oklahoma City Thunder arena do you know how to fix this? thanks for your help.

roster is for me 7/10. it's fine that we have a possibility to play such players as Spree,Divac or Shaq in LA but please make it more realistic by removing Free Agents and making real coach profiles and team ratings(e.g. NYK are in your roster fast breaking team with poor defense but in 00-01 it was the best defensive team in NBA and 29th in pace factor ). or just tell me how to do it,i would do it with pleasure(i'm a rookie in editing NBA games so explain exactly)

Nice roster!

For some reason the game crashes for me, when I play a game with the 76'ers. I can use them in practise mode without problms though. Everything else work great, and unlike the 2003-roster, without any framerate issues.

Oh, and Vlade Divac has no head and white arms.

hmm, there is a definitely an eric snow cyber face since he was in 2k just a year or so back before he retired.

What detail quality is your courts? If it isn't high then it won't work

hey inbar! i have some porblems with this patch, i did everything i could but it just not working. i dupmed all the .iff files to the main nba 2k10 folder and the .ROS in to the saves folder and it doesnt work.
