My Player Injury

Hey guys!
I was playing My Player mode(2k10) last night and it was the All-Star game. I was a reserve and I simulated it so I could play but to my surprise, the game finished and I thought maybe they didn't let me play. I looked at my stats and saw 13 pts., 3 rbds. , 3 assists in 26 minutes. After that I saw my player has a broken wrist. Does injuries occur unexpectedly in My Player mode? I don't know if this has any connection to my injury but I played the whole game during my last game, the Rok-Sph game, and my stamina was fully drained.
